Laguna Beach Cast: What Are They Up To These Days?
Following the success of Fox’s The O.C., MTV debuted Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County in 2004, exploring the real-life town.
This reality series centered around the lives of high schoolers Stephen Colletti, Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari, Lo Bosworth, and others. Originally intended as a high school drama, Laguna Beach shifted focus to the cast’s home lives due to limitations on filming in actual school locations.
Conrad served as the narrator for the inaugural season, which primarily revolved around a love triangle involving herself, Cavallari, and Colletti. In the second season, as Conrad headed off to college, Cavallari stepped in as the narrator. However, the introduction of a new cast in her absence did not resonate with fans as strongly as the original group.
