Amal Clooney Stuns at George Clooney’s Movie Premiere After Dramatic 8-Inch Haircut
Amal Clooney stole the spotlight as she joined her husband George Clooney at the London premiere of his latest film, Jay Kelly.
The 47-year-old humanitarian exuded elegance on the red carpet, showcasing a stunning blush pink strapless gown embellished with sparkling sequins and layers of fringe. She completed her look with a dramatic feathered stole that added a touch of Old Hollywood charm on Friday, October 10.
Both striking garments were from Tamara Ralph’s autumn/winter 2025/2026 collection.
Amal’s freshly styled “toasted almond” hair also turned heads, cascading in soft waves over one shoulder as she posed alongside George, 64, who looked dapper in a navy blue tuxedo.
George returned to his signature silver fox appearance for the event after dyeing his hair brown for his Broadway debut in Good Night, and Good Luck, just ahead of opening night in April.
“I know it’s not good,” he confessed to CBS Mornings regarding his hair transformation at the time. “You never get used to it. It’s not my favorite look, and my wife thinks it’s funny.”
Amal and George appeared joyful at the London movie premiere, where her makeup was both polished and timeless.
She enhanced her natural beauty with a soft rose-toned blush for warmth on her cheeks and a neutral pink lipstick with a satin finish. Her eyes were accentuated with neutral shadow paired with voluminous lashes, while her perfectly groomed brows added structure to her glamorous look.
In terms of accessories, she opted for statement drop earrings that shimmered with every movement of her head.
The couple’s appearance on the red carpet came just days after Amal revealed a trendy new fall hairstyle, styled by celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos on Monday, October 6.
“I cut off between six and eight inches of hair,” Giannetos explained to Vogue regarding her fresh look. “Amal has never had a haircut like this before.”
The stylist mentioned that they decided to make the change leading up to the 2025 edition of The Clooney Foundation For Justice’s The Albies in London.
Amal was a sight to behold at the soirée, which took place at the Natural History Museum, wearing an Atelier Versace gown designed by Dario Vitale.
The brown off-the-shoulder ruched design perfectly complemented her skin tone, and she completed her fall ensemble with a chic gold clutch, gold rings, and earrings. Her Oscar-winning husband looked sharp in a tailored black tuxedo and black leather dress shoes.
Before the Albies, Giannetos and Amal deepened her base shade of brown slightly while warming her Scandinavian-style face-framing pieces to maintain a “soft and sweet” appearance.
Giannetos referred to the refined style as a “power cut” and shared tips for achieving the look, advising that hair should be cut to the décolletage with blunt ends and elongated face-framing pieces. “It’s sophisticated and modern,” he noted.
He also took to Instagram to showcase her chic new hairstyle, posting, “AMAL CLOONEY ❤️,” alongside the caption. “‘The bubble blowout’ and a new chop for Amal Clooney!”
