Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Arm Insecurities Post-Museum Gala: ‘It’s So Real’
Hailey Bieber is truly relatable, just like Us.
On Tuesday, October 21, Bieber, 28, responded to a meme that showcased a stunning photo from her attendance at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles via Instagram.
In the image, the Rhode founder gazed to the side with her mouth partially open, seemingly conveying a disapproving side-eye. The meme stated, “When you see a bad pic of your arm,” to which Bieber shared her own insecurity, replying, “Omg that one’s so real.”
Fans echoed her feelings, taking to social media to share their own not-so-flattering photos.
“Nothing ruins your day quite like seeing a side view picture of your arm 💔,” remarked one user on X earlier this month, while another added, “My arms don’t seem to understand what size my body is. That side view is just off.” A third user commented, “I’ve never felt more validated 🤣 my arms always betray me; the proportion is way off.”
Bieber exuded confidence while strutting down the red carpet at the gala on Saturday, October 18.
She wore a striking brown Schiaparelli dress featuring a chocolate bra top with white fabric peeking from her pointed cups. The gown transitioned into a tan corset, leading to a dark brown skirt adorned with crystal details and a thigh-high slit.
She elevated her look with a diamond bracelet and matching rings.
Her makeup highlighted her dewy skin, achieved with her Rhode products, featuring rosy and illuminated cheeks, lined pink lips, a hint of eyeshadow blended in her crease, and long lashes. Her caramel brown hair was elegantly parted in the middle and styled in voluminous curls.
While recounting her evening on Instagram on Monday, October 20, Bieber included a humorous photo showing her trying to sit down in her structured ensemble. She was awkwardly leaning into a booth, unable to fully relax and bend her back, while she pouted at the camera, stretching her arm across the back of the booth.
“Always a beautiful night @academymuseum 🤎,” she captioned her post.
This isn’t the first time Bieber has engaged with memes on her profile. In April 2024, she humorously reacted to fans using her Rhode phone case, which is designed to accommodate one of her Peptide Lip Tints in a socket on the back.
