Sai De Silva Gives Clues About the Future of The Real Housewives of New York City
Sai De Silva believes that viewers will not miss out on The Real Housewives of New York City for long.
“I will be at BravoCon, but beyond that, there’s no news yet, so TBD,” Sai, 44, remarked exclusively to Us Weekly while attending the American Ballet Theatre 2025 Fall Gala on Wednesday, October 22. “But there will definitely be a show.”
Following season 15’s completion with a two-part reunion in February, Bravo has not confirmed the cast for a new season. However, in May, the network informed Us that the show has not been canceled.
“I would love to return,” Sai told Us while wearing a Prabal Gurung dress at the event. “Being part of Real Housewives of New York has been such a significant chapter for me, so it’s iconic, and as a New Yorker, I would love to represent.”
When asked about the potential return of Jenna Lyons, Sai responded, “We know nothing. We have no clue.”
During season 15, Sai and Jenna, 57, shared the screen with Erin Lichy, Ubah Hassan, Racquel Chevremont, Brynn Whitfield, and Jessel Taank. Designer Rebecca Minkoff also appeared as a “friend” of the cast.
While Rebecca, 44, and Brynn, 39, have publicly confirmed their departure from the franchise, the rest of the cast seems poised for any announcements. (BravoCon is taking place November 14-16 in Las Vegas.)
Andy Cohen reassured fans in May that The Real Housewives of New York City is still on the table. Rather, producers are working diligently behind the scenes to finalize the best cast.
“I don’t know how else to say it,” he stated during a May episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “We’re in between seasons on the Housewives, but it’s fascinating that just last week, the Bravo executives met with 10 potential new Real Housewives of New York.”
Andy, 57, clarified that Bravo is currently undergoing “the casting process between seasons” and emphasized that it’s “well underway.”
“That’s why no announcements have been made, so I’m not sure what to tell you,” he elaborated to co-host John Hill. “It’s really unusual. It just keeps dragging on, so there you have it.”
While attending New York’s Lincoln Center to celebrate Misty Copeland, Sai appeared less concerned about reality TV and more enthusiastic about the American Ballet Theatre.
“My daughter’s 14, and she is a ballerina in pre-professional training,” she revealed to Us. “I am very familiar with this world, managing schedules, ensuring it’s Nutcracker season, and monitoring rehearsals. This art form is beautiful and vital, especially in my household.”
The glamour-filled gala also provided Sai an opportunity for a date night with her husband, David Craig.
Following the event, the Bravo star shared a photo with her supportive spouse, reflecting on the enchanting evening.
“An unforgettable night at the @abtofficial Gala honoring the incredible @mistyonpointe, a woman who broke barriers and danced her way into history,” Sai posted via Instagram on Friday, October 24. “She created a pathway for Black and brown ballerinas everywhere to take up space, shine, and soar. I’m truly honored to have witnessed her final bow with ABT.”
