RHOP’s Eddie Osefo Spotted at Weed Pop-Up Following Arrest (Exclusive)

Eddie Osefo has returned to his professional duties following his arrest on fraud charges.

The 41-year-old surprised fans by attending a pop-up event for his cannabis brand, Happy Eddie, held at Far & Dotter in Pikesville, Maryland, on Friday, October 24, as sources exclusively informed Us Weekly.

He arrived solo, without his wife, The Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefo, shortly before the pop-up opened to the public at 1 p.m.

An eyewitness shared with Us that Eddie appeared to be in “great spirits” and was seen enjoying himself and interacting with guests throughout the two-hour event.

“He was very approachable and friendly,” the source reported, highlighting that Eddie’s conversations were “light-hearted and enjoyable.”

He discussed his Happy Eddie brand and his experience in the cannabis sector, but refrained from mentioning his and Wendy’s recent legal issues, according to the insider.

The overall engagement Eddie had was described as “nothing out of the ordinary,” the source added.

He took a few photos with guests and distributed promotional items, such as shirts, hoodies, and lighters from his cannabis brand.

Eddie’s attendance also contributed to an increase in foot traffic for the local dispensary that hosted the event.

“It was definitely a busy atmosphere,” the insider told Us, noting that the pop-up “had a nice steady stream of visitors.”

He additionally shared on Happy Eddie’s social media earlier that day, stating, “Proud to be back in the community today @fardottermaryland Pikesville spreading Happy Vibes.”

Eddie and Wendy, both 41, faced arrest on October 9 for charges including insurance fraud, conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, and providing false statements to a law enforcement officer.

They have denied the accusations and engaged separate legal representation to contest the charges.

Eddie retained prominent attorney Joseph Murtha, who has connections to the former case involving President Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, as reported exclusively by Us.

The couple is seeking dismissal of the charges against them while also demanding suppression of all gathered evidence, citing unlawful search and seizure.

The allegations originated from a purported burglary incident at their Maryland residence in April 2024.

Following their arrest, a representative for the couple issued a statement.

“Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward Osefo, are safely back with their family and remain in good spirits,” the statement said. “They appreciate the overwhelming support and concern from friends, fans, and colleagues. The Osefos, with their legal team, eagerly await their day in court. At this moment, they respectfully request privacy as they concentrate on their family and the forthcoming legal proceedings.”
