Pete Davidson’s Girlfriend Elsie Hewitt Can’t Hold Back Tears Over Daughter
Elsie Hewitt is utterly in love with her and Pete Davidson’s newborn daughter.
“[T]o all the moms,” Hewitt, 29, wrote in a photo shared on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, December 20, “do you find yourselves just staring at your baby and crying because of how much you love them, astonished that they’re yours and that your body created this perfect little being, leaving you overwhelmed with such deep affection that you just burst into tears?”
The couple welcomed their little one on December 12, with Hewitt making the announcement on Instagram four days later.
“Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson ♥️,” she shared as the baby’s name in her Instagram post. “This is my greatest achievement, and I’m absolutely overflowing with love, gratitude, and disbelief.”
Davidson and Hewitt ignited dating rumors in March 2025, confirming their relationship two months later. Hewitt made her pregnancy announcement on Instagram in July, featuring several photos and videos of herself with Davidson, 31.
“Welp, now everyone knows we had sex,” she captioned her post.
“He is incredible,” Hewitt shared with People about her boyfriend while on the red carpet in May. “Honestly, he’s the best person I’ve ever met, and I’m so thankful he’s here tonight. We felt it was important to be here and support the [Endometriosis Foundation of America] in spreading awareness and educating others.”
Davidson previously expressed his desire to have children and become a father in the future.
“[I’m] definitely a family guy,” he told Kevin Hart during season 2 of Peacock’s Hart to Heart. “My ultimate goal, which I still haven’t reached, is to have a kid. It’s like my dream. It sounds corny, but it would be incredibly fun. I can’t wait to dress up the little guy. I’m so excited for that chapter.”
He added, “Right now, my focus is on being as good as I can be, to develop myself so that when the time comes, it’s easier.”
On Friday, December 19, a source close to the couple revealed to Us Weekly that they might soon relocate following their baby’s birth.
“It’s been a whirlwind week, but they are smitten with their baby girl and completely overjoyed,” the source said. “They welcomed her in New York and hope to raise her in upstate New York, where they can enjoy more privacy and a suburban environment.”
The insider continued, “They are still adjusting and learning the parenting ropes day by day. Pete is ecstatic to officially be a dad and has had a smile on his face since her birth. He was quite emotional when she arrived.”
According to the insider, Hewitt shares the excitement.
“Elsie is having a fantastic week with baby Scottie. She feels amazing and has taken to motherhood like a natural,” the insider explained. “She genuinely feels destined for this role. They are cherishing every moment and have so much love to give to Scottie.”
