Brianna Chickenfry Responds to Zach Bryan’s Diss Track with a Nod to Taylor Swift

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia is embracing her emotions with a little assistance from Taylor Swift following the release of an alleged diss track by her ex, Zach Bryan.

On Friday, January 9, LaPaglia, 26, appeared to react to the rumored diss song by posting a snippet of Swift’s “Actually Romantic” on her Instagram Stories, streaming from Spotify.

This track, part of the 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl, addresses how some individuals frequently mention Swift’s name, treating it as a compliment despite their attempts to tarnish her reputation.

“It’s actually sweet all the time you’ve spent on me. It’s honestly wild,” Swift expresses in the song.

Many fans believe LaPaglia shares similar sentiments following the release of Bryan’s latest album, With Heaven on Top, which includes the song “Skin.”

This song addresses his ex, expressing pain through lines like taking “a blade to my old tattoos” to eliminate “the blood between me and you.”

Bryan sings, “I’m taking a blade to my own skin / And I ain’t ever touching yours again.”

He continues with, “How do tattoos take to your skin? / Is your higher ground ever sinking? / Do you love people just to win when it’s over?”

Following the song’s debut, fans began to notice parallels between the lyrics and Bryan’s relationship with LaPaglia.

The couple, who ended their relationship in October 2024, previously shared matching tattoos.

In 2023, LaPaglia got “How lucky are we?” inked on her upper arm, while Bryan reportedly followed suit during their relationship — using the phrase in his 2024 song “28.”

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia is officially a Swiftie. On Sunday, December 8, she unveiled her new Taylor Swift-inspired tattoo on Instagram just before attending the final Eras Tour concert in Vancouver, donning an Evermore-inspired outfit with a plaid jacket and braid, reminiscent of Swift’s style.

In his 2026 song “Skin,” some believe Bryan made another reference to LaPaglia with the line, “Do you still talk s*** on all your friends? / I’m here to take it all to the chin / This time stone cold sober.”

The country singer announced their breakup in October 2024 after over a year of dating.

LaPaglia later expressed that she felt blindsided by Bryan’s public declaration of their split, alleging emotional abuse during their time together. She claimed that he offered her $12 million to remain silent about their relationship, which she stated she refused. (Us Weekly reached out to Bryan’s representative at that time for comments.)

Since then, Bryan has moved on with Samantha Leonard, whom he wed in December 2025 after they were first spotted together in June.
