Where Are They Now? Updates on Former Bachelor and Bachelorette Leads
While some roses endure, others fade before the Neil Lane engagement ring gets resized.
The Bachelor made its debut on ABC in March 2002, introducing Alex Michel as the world’s most eligible Bachelor. Over 20 women vied for his affection, leading to the creation of one of reality TV’s most successful franchises. The following year saw the launch of The Bachelorette.
Since its initial airing in 2002, over 50 individuals have taken on the roles of Bachelor or Bachelorette. Notably, Brad Womack is the only star to lead the series on two occasions. However, in 2020, the series stunned audiences with a remarkable twist when Tayshia Adams stepped in for Clare Crawley during season 16 of The Bachelorette.
Us Weekly reported that producers were caught “scrambling” when the hairstylist quickly fell for contestant Dale Moss. Just under two weeks into filming, the couple left engaged, prompting Tayshia to continue with the remaining contestants.
Tayshia accepted a proposal from Zac Clark at the season’s conclusion, but they parted ways in November 2021. Clare and Dale, on the other hand, briefly separated in January 2021 before ultimately breaking off their engagement in September of that same year.
After over two decades on air, Tayshia and Clare’s tumultuous breakups aren’t the only surprises for fans. Scroll down for an update on where every Bachelor and Bachelorette lead stands today:
