Below Deck Med Recap: Kizzi Mends Fences with Ex After Kissing All Around
Below Deck Mediterranean concluded with a surprising turn when Kizzi Kitchener and Joe Bradley shared another kiss, only for her to reconsider her decision about reconciling with her ex-boyfriend.
In the episode that aired on Monday, January 26, Kizzi and Joe geared up for their last night out as a crew. They were playful and flirtatious throughout the evening, culminating in a kiss in the car on the way back to Bravado.
Joe anticipated that the kiss would spark something more, but Kizzi had other plans. By the time Joe visited her cabin, eager to spend the night together before leaving the boat forever, she was already fast asleep.
“I did kiss Joe in the car,” Kizzi confided to Josh Bingham earlier that night. “Now that I’ve done it, I’m like, ‘Don’t need to do it again.’ Now I can go home and get married and never have to wonder, ‘What if?’”
Kizzi later expressed to the cameras her desire to mend things with professional rugby player Tom Whiteley.
“I can’t complain. I’ve accomplished everything I set out to do. But I think I’m having a bit of an epiphany right now, and you might think I’m crazy,” she reflected. “But I genuinely think I’m in love with Tom, who is the ex-boyfriend I broke up with to kiss everyone on the boat.”
Kizzi continued: “Do you think he will still take me back? Like, do you think he still wants me? How would I have known that if I hadn’t broken up and kissed everyone on the boat?”
A season recap showcased Kizzi kissing Victoria SanJuan, Aesha Scott, Cathy Skinner, Nathan Gallagher, Max Salvador, and Joe. However, her kiss with Joe stirred up the most drama, particularly as he was still involved with Victoria at the time.
Kizzi spoke to Us Weekly regarding any regrets since filming season 10, stating in October 2025, “In the moment, you completely forget about the camera crew, especially when you’ve had a drink and these people are your friends. If there weren’t cameras, I can’t even begin to imagine what others would say.”
The stew remained true to her onscreen actions.
“I definitely could tone it down in spots, but I also want to be authentic and genuine. These things occur in real life and it doesn’t make you a bad person,” she noted. “After watching it back, I regret disclosing so much to people who weren’t considering the context.”
Following her breakup with Tom on the show, Kizzi announced their engagement in a November 2025 Instagram post, saying, “Literally straight after the season, I went to see him [and] we discussed everything. One year later, and we’re engaged.”
