Travis Kelce Quips About Gaining Weight from Taylor Swift’s Sourdough

Travis Kelce is really enjoying his fiancée Taylor Swift‘s sourdough craze a little too much.

In a sneak peek of the latest episode of his sister-in-law Kylie Kelce‘s podcast, “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce,” set to air on Friday, February 7, Travis humorously mentioned how he has been treating himself to Swift’s baked treats.

“Hi, I’m Travis Kelce, Kylie Kelce’s brother-in-law, and I’m not going to lie, I broke Taylor’s chair with the weight I gained from her sourdough,” Travis, 36, joked in a clip shared on social media on Thursday, February 6. He then added, “Good gut health, though.”

In reaction to Travis’ admission, Kylie, who is married to Travis’ brother Jason Kelce, quipped, “That’s true love.”

Travis Kelce keeps his culinary moments with Taylor Swift a secret — or does he? “I appreciate that question, but I’m gonna keep that one to myself,” Kelce, 34, responded during a Kansas City Chiefs press conference on Tuesday, June 11, when asked about his and Swift’s kitchen experiences, […]

Kylie’s comment led Travis to shout out to Swift, laughing as he said, “Love you!”

Kylie, 33, also took a moment to express her love for the “Opalite” singer. “I love you, too!” she replied.

Swift, 36, has previously opened up about her baking “obsession,” notably her fondness for sourdough.

“Every six months, I find a new baking obsession. Right now, we’re very deep in a sourdough obsession,” Swift revealed while guesting on Travis and Jason’s “New Heights” podcast in August 2025. She mentioned testing flavors like cinnamon swirl and blueberry lemon.

“Sourdough has completely taken over my life. I’m genuinely talking about bread 60 percent of the time now,” she joked. “It’s become a major part of my life.”

Swift later confessed that her sourdough obsession has spiraled. “I’m into sourdough blogs. There’s a whole community of us,” she remarked.

Several of Swift’s famous friends have received her baked creations. The “Bad Blood” singer has sent loaves to Chiefs training camp and to her long-time friend Selena Gomez and her husband, Benny Blanco.

While on “New Heights,” Swift revealed that she baked something special for Kylie and Jason’s daughters: “This one I’ve been workshopping for the girls, because they adore everything rainbow: funfetti sourdough,” Swift explained. “They love sprinkles, so we add sprinkles to everything when we hang out.”

Months later, Kylie praised Swift’s baking skills in an episode of “Not Gonna Lie.”

“We have well-known bakers in the family,” Kylie mentioned in a November 2025 episode. “Taylor makes an amazing sourdough loaf. It’s just so good. And Pop-Tarts.”
