Prince Harry Snuggles with Daughter Lili in Adorable Valentine’s Day 2026 Photo
Meghan Markle truly has the most adorable valentines.
“These two + Archie = my forever Valentines,” Meghan, 45, shared on Instagram on Saturday, February 14, revealing a rare picture of her husband, Prince Harry, cradling their daughter Princess Lilibet, 4.
In the photo, Harry, 41, is seen holding Lili in the backyard of their Montecito, California, residence. Lili sported a ballet outfit that matched her vibrant red hair while holding a bouquet of red balloons. (The couple also has a son, Prince Archie, who is 6.)
Harry and Meghan relocated to California in 2020 after stepping down from their roles as senior working royals.
“We were exploring this area, and this house kept appearing in our searches,” Meghan recounted in a 2022 interview with New York Magazine‘s The Cut. “Without jobs, visiting the house seemed impossible. It felt like window shopping when you know you can’t afford something.”
Despite any reservations, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex toured the home.
“One of the first things my husband noticed when we walked around the house were those two palm trees,” Meghan reminisced to the outlet. “They’re connected at the base. He said, ‘My love, it’s us.’ Now, every day when Archie passes by, he greets us with, ‘Hi, Momma. Hi, Papa.'”
She added, “Walking into the house feels like… joy. You just exhale and feel calm. It’s healing. You feel free.”
While Meghan grew up in California, Harry spent his entire childhood in England.
“I love living here in the U.S. and raising my kids in this environment,” Harry mentioned during The New York Times’ DealBook Summit in December 2024. “It’s a chapter of my life I never expected to experience, but it feels like the life my mom [Princess Diana] hoped for me.”
Harry noted that his “primary aspiration” is to be “the best dad and husband” possible.
“Everything happening now stems from my 10 years in the military and the values I hold,” Harry remarked, referencing his ongoing quest for security in England. “It’s becoming increasingly challenging for those who uphold values as the world changes. What I want to be remembered for is that I stayed true to my principles.”
Harry has always had a special bond with his only daughter since her arrival in 2021.
“Harry cherishes Lili and loves reading her bedtime stories and rocking her to sleep,” a source told Us Weekly a few months after Lili’s birth. “He has a special touch. Each day brings more happiness. They are filled with love and gratitude and couldn’t ask for more.”
Weeks later, Harry acknowledged to Ed Sheeran in an interview that raising two children is indeed “a juggle.”
“She’s very easygoing and seems happy to just chill,” he joked. “Meanwhile, Archie is running around like crazy. [We’ve] been quite fortunate so far.”
