Chet Hanks Shows Off His Veneers Following Colombia Adventure

After a recent “adventure” in Colombia, Chet Hanks finally has something to celebrate!

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson’s son took to Instagram on Wednesday, March 4, to reveal his new veneers following dental treatment in Medellín.

“I’m so thrilled,” Chet, 35, expressed in a video while showcasing his bright smile. “Perfect Smile Experience did an amazing job! It’s more intricate than just placing the veneers; they have to shape them to align with your jaw and bite. That requires real expertise, so I’m grateful I came here.”

He added, “My bite feels totally natural and perfect. I didn’t even have to choose the shape; they matched it to my natural teeth. It’s just perfect! I’m really happy.”

Perfect Smile Experience also posted a video on their Instagram Stories capturing Chet’s reaction upon seeing his new veneers for the first time.

“Oh my goodness, I’m in love,” Chet exclaimed in the clip. “All I can say is that my confidence is through the roof. I came here wanting to smile more, and I can confidently say I’ll be smiling a lot more now.”

“I’m so excited!” he added.

Chet made headlines last week when he posted on Friday, February 27, about being stuck in Colombia without his U.S. passport.

Chet explained he left his U.S. passport in Los Angeles since it was about to expire and shared that “sometimes they don’t let you in the country even if it hasn’t expired, but it’s nearing expiration.”

The Running Point actor faced a tricky situation at the airport when asked for a green card, which he doesn’t possess because he is a U.S. citizen.

“I arrived at the airport three hours early for my flight,” he said. “It was an international flight, and they informed me that with a foreign passport, I need a green card to re-enter America.”

“I’m literally stuck in Colombia. I’m stuck in Medellín,” he said. “Sure, there are worse places to be stuck, but I honestly have no idea what to do next, and the only embassy that can help is in Bogota.”
