Anthony Davis Delivers Pranks on Fellow Athletes

Anthony Davis is gearing up for the ultimate prank show featuring some of the biggest names in sports.

Us Weekly can exclusively unveil the trailer for the NBA star’s new unscripted series titled Foul Play With Anthony Davis.

“You might not know this, but I enjoy pranking people,” shares Davis, 32, in the sneak peek. “I’ve gathered some of the biggest athletes in the world along with my great friends to prank other athletes. Athletes, beware — you might hear the words, ‘You just got played.’”

The debut episode is set to air on Monday, April 6, following the NCAA Championship Game on TBS. Davis will recruit NBA legend LeBron James and agent Rich Paul to set up NBA player Draymond Green with an exclusive investment opportunity, leading to unexpected hidden-camera antics.

Additionally, Davis will partner with Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles to set up WNBA star Rickea Jackson in a chilling parking lot ordeal that any Los Angeles resident would dread.

“I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have in store for this inaugural season,” Davis expressed. “We’ve assembled a fantastic lineup of athletes and special guests, and our pranks push even further — I can’t wait for viewers to enjoy the laughs with us.”

Expect to see NFL Hall of Famer Rod Woodson, Los Angeles Rams player Puka Nacusa, USC basketball star JuJu Watkins, American Ninja Warrior host Akbar Gbaja-Biamila, Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray, and more featured in season 1.

“What Anthony and this amazing group of athletes and entertainers bring to Foul Play is pure fun,” remarked Jason Sarlanis, president of TNT, TBS, TruTV, ID and HLN linear and streaming at Warner Bros. “The scale, surprises, and sheer enjoyment of these pranks give the series an event-like feel.”

Many will recognize Davis as the 10-time NBA All-Star currently playing for the Washington Wizards.

While reality TV may be a new venture for him, Davis — the first overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft — previously made a cameo in the 2023 film House Party.

Fans of pop culture may find the trailer reminiscent of MTV’s Punk’d, where Ashton Kutcher orchestrated elaborate pranks on Hollywood celebrities.

According to TBS, future episodes of Foul Play With Anthony Davis will feature Olympic ice skater Tara Lipinski as an unsuspecting participant in one of Davis’ intricate pranks.
