Kendra Wilkinson Claps Back at Criticism Over ‘Aging Poorly’ Remarks

Kendra Wilkinson is celebrating the journey of aging.

On Sunday, March 8, Wilkinson, 40, took to Instagram to share her thoughts on “embracing” herself, despite receiving negative comments about her perceived aging.

“I used to apply a light filter on my selfies, but now I’m learning to accept myself just as I am,” she wrote alongside a selfie. “I’ve seen many comments claiming I’ve aged ‘poorly,’ and that’s perfectly fine. I’m okay with aging ‘poorly.’”

The Girls Next Door alum expressed that she feels happier than ever at 40. “For some reason, I’m experiencing more joy lately, even with a little weight gain and some wrinkles,” she shared. “I refuse to link my happiness to negative energy.”

Wilkinson took a moment to appreciate her achievements, calling herself a “balanced, single, positive, fun woman who loves life,” and expressed her desire to maintain this sentiment “forever.”

“I was very young when I entered the TV world and spent two chaotic decades trying to impress others, but now it’s all about ME,” she added. “Giving back to ME, even with less money and far less fame. 😂”
