Why Zibby Allen of Virgin River Is Concerned About Season 8

Virgin River‘s Zibby Allen expressed her concerns about season 8 following a dramatic finale.

The seventh season of the Netflix sensation, which debuted on Thursday, March 12, showcased Brie (Allen) and Brady (Ben Hollingsworth) finally aligning in their relationship. Unfortunately, their happiness was fleeting, as Brady was involved in a motorcycle accident that put his future in jeopardy.

“We’ve speculated a lot about what it’s going to be. Is he going to be OK?” Allen told Us Weekly in an exclusive interview. “It’s really unfortunate that things never seem to go perfectly for Brady.”

Allen admitted she was unclear about future plans, saying, “I’m not going to lie, I’m a bit worried. I want them to have more than just a fleeting moment — they only had one brief moment on the motorcycle before his accident. I hope he gets a chance [at happiness with Brie], so we’ll see what unfolds.”

“I know as much as Ben does — which isn’t as much as he’s suggesting,” she joked. “The writers usually let us pitch our character arcs for the upcoming season, but that’s only in the early stages of writing. So things often change. It’s always somewhat of a mystery for us until we receive the actual scripts.”
