Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady’s Plans for a Flag Football Event
NFL icons Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady are set for another round of amusing rivalry.
On Saturday, March 21, the Super Bowl champions will be hosting two distinct flag football tournaments in Southern California.
At BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, Brady, 48, will collaborate with Fanatics, OBB Media, and Fox Sports to present the inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
Meanwhile, approximately 60 miles south, Rodgers, 42, will help launch the RX3 Charity Flag Football event at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California.
Both events are showcasing impressive star power and a bit of good-natured rivalry between the organizations.
“We’re thrilled to see flag football gaining momentum, especially with LA28 approaching,” Nate Raabe, cofounder and managing partner at RX3 Growth Partners, stated to Us Weekly before game day. “The main distinction with our [event] is that our quarterbacks are not just here for a pay. They are here for a cause. Every quarterback and team sponsor participating in our tournament is supporting a charity they’ve selected.”
Read on to explore more about the flag football events organized by Brady and Rodgers, and how you can get involved in both:

Desmond Howard, Jordan Palmer, and Marcellus Wiley will serve as tournament hosts, while country singer Walker Hayes will be the halftime headliner. More surprises are anticipated on the day of the event.
Who Is Involved in Tom Brady’s Event?

Tom Brady will be joined by fellow captains Jalen Hurts, Jayden Daniels, and Joe Burrow leading their teams to victory. Other standout NFL players in attendance include Saquon Barkley, Odell Beckham Jr., Stefon Diggs, Rob Gronkowski, and Kyle Juszczyk.

How Are Team USA Flag Football Teams Involved?
As anticipation grows for the 2028 Summer Olympics, which will debut flag football, both Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are ensuring Team USA is well-represented in their respective events.
Brady’s tournament will feature three 12-player teams: two made up of a mix of current and former NFL stars alongside elite global athletes, and the third composed of USA Football’s reigning IFAF Flag Football World Champion U.S. Men’s National Team.
“Having Team USA as the third team in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic raises the already world-class talent participating in this tournament,” Brady expressed. “I’m eager to see how these teams measure up, and the fact that we’re playing in the same stadium that will host flag football during the Olympics provides a glimpse of what’s coming in 2028. But I’m not returning to the field to lose. That’s for sure.”
At Rodgers’ event, one of the teams comprises Team USA’s female flag football players, as confirmed by RX3 cofounder Nate Raabe.
