Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s Son Sustains Injury During Family Getaway
Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin’s son Leonardo recently experienced a head injury while on a family vacation.
“Trigger warning: Leo split his forehead open and we received excellent care at the hospital. Truly thankful for the kindness and support,” Hilaria, 42, shared in her Instagram post on Monday, March 30. The carousel featured a photo of Leo, 9, on an exam table at the hospital, a picture of him in a wheelchair, and a close-up of the cut on his forehead, which was covered in gauze.
Hilaria did not specify how Leo was injured.
“I cherish that my family came to meet me after my work trip. It was such a special moment for us to be together 🤍,” the mother of seven noted, adding that aside from Leo’s incident, the trip was memorable, filled with “beach time, unity, and practicing walking like 🦀😂.”
Hilaria concluded, “Memories created. I missed them so much, it was painful 💕.”
The content creator also uploaded various photos and videos from the beach, one of which showed Leo walking next to her wearing a large floppy hat. The bandaged cut was visible above his eyebrow.
Hilaria, who shares seven children with Alec, 67, has provided several updates while on her work trip, though she hasn’t disclosed her exact location.
“Today is the day I embark on a really exciting work trip; I am so grateful and joyful for this opportunity. AND my heart aches because I’m leaving all my little ones at home 😭,” Hilaria captioned a post on March 8. “My kids asked me how many hugs and kisses would be enough: I told them there’s no number that will ever stop us from missing and yearning for each other every day.”
The podcaster continued, “But we’ll talk every day and count down the days until we can be together again 💕. They wanted me to wake them up and film them, in case they don’t remember it 😂. I left a note, baked some treats, and we sprayed each other’s stuffed animals with my perfume 🤍. I love these little ones dearly and am truly trying to navigate the work/motherhood balance. The dual identities are challenging, right? Love you all 💙.”
Over the next few days, Hilaria shared pictures of her kids and Alec back home, expressing her excitement to reunite with them. In another update on Saturday, March 28, Hilaria disclosed that her family came to visit.
“Reunited!!! 😭❤️,” she wrote alongside photos and videos of the kids, including one where they all jumped out of a car to embrace Hilaria upon their arrival.
Alec and Hilaria wed in June 2012 and have since welcomed sons Leonardo, Rafael, 10, Romeo, 7, and Eduardo, 5, along with daughters Carmen, 12, Ilaria, 3, and María Lucía, 4. Alec is also the father of daughter Ireland, 29, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
