Andy Cohen Mocks Kristi Noem’s Husband Bryon During Scandal
Bravo host Andy Cohen is diving into the ongoing discussion regarding former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and her spouse, Bryon Noem.
“Wishing all my tig-bitted married MAGA bros a Happy Easter!” Cohen, 57, posted on Threads on Friday, April 3.
The Watch What Happens Live host appeared to be alluding to the controversy surrounding Kristi and her family, sparked by photos released by the Daily Mail, which allegedly depicted her husband in pink bicycle shorts and posing with oversized, fake breasts.
Bryon, who shares daughters Kassidy and Kennedy and son Booker with Kristi, reportedly spent $25,000 to chat with “bimbofication” models online — individuals who look doll-like due to cosmetic enhancements. He allegedly communicated with one model, expressing his admiration for “huge, huge ridiculous boobs.”
Us Weekly reached out to Kristi and Bryon at that time for their comments.
After the images emerged, Kristi, 54, released a statement through a spokesperson, claiming her family was “blindsided” by her husband’s alleged actions.
“Ms. Noem is devastated,” the spokesperson told the New York Post on Tuesday, March 31. “The family was blindsided by this, and they request privacy and prayers during this time.”
Kristi has faced her share of controversies since President Donald Trump nominated her for, and she was ultimately confirmed as, the secretary of homeland security. The former governor of South Dakota notoriously allocated $220 million for an advertising campaign that prominently featured her — a campaign she claimed Trump, 79, approved, but he later refuted.
“POTUS did not approve a $220 MILLION ad campaign,” a White House official informed NBC News at that time. “Absolutely not.”
Kristi has also declined to apologize to the families of Alex Pretti and Renee Good — the two American citizens who were killed by ICE agents in Minneapolis, Minnesota — after she referred to them as “domestic terrorists” following their tragic deaths.
“We are handling situations where there’s a tragic loss of life and there’s something our agents are involved with, and we continue to provide information,” Kristi stated during her testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee just two days before her removal from the role, refusing to retract her statements.
Kristi has also faced allegations of having an affair with political operative Corey Lewandowski during her time as Secretary of Homeland Security, amidst her marriage to Bryon. She has denied these claims.
“A culmination of her many unfortunate leadership failures, including the fallout in Minnesota, the ad campaign, the allegations of infidelity, mismanagement of her staff, and her ongoing disputes with heads of other agencies like CBP and ICE,” led Trump to decide to terminate Kristi, an administration official told NBC News.
“Kristi’s drama sadly overshadowed and distracted from the Administration’s highly popular immigration agenda, which will continue to move forward,” the official added.
A February PBS News/NPR/Marist Poll revealed that two-thirds of Americans believe ICE has gone too far in its immigration initiatives. A recent AAPI poll indicated that 60% of Americans think Trump has caused more harm than good regarding immigration.
