Anna Delvey Reveals How She Styles Tights with an Ankle Monitor
Anna Delvey refused to let an ankle monitor compromise her style.
In a recent video shared via X on Thursday, May 14, the 35-year-old Delvey showcased her clever technique for wearing a pair of tights beneath her ankle monitor, which she has been required to wear since being charged with grand larceny in 2019.
In the video, she gracefully slipped her black sheer tights onto one foot and then expertly threaded the other leg through the monitor’s cuff. The Dancing With the Stars alum then gently adjusted the stocking until it fit smoothly under the monitor.
Delvey completed her ensemble with a chic little black A-line dress featuring a strapless neckline.

“Don’t ever ask me how I get tights under the ankle monitor again,” she wrote in the post. Her fans took to the comments to share their thoughts.
“Sorry I doubted you queen,” one admirer commented, to which she humorously replied, “I shall forgive those who have sinned.” Another fan chimed in, “And all that without a single run or tear,” while a third added, “Hahaha, this move is just too perfect 😂.”
In May 2019, Delvey was convicted on multiple charges, including second-degree grand larceny, third-degree grand larceny, attempted grand larceny, and theft of services. She impersonated a German heiress to fund a lavish lifestyle, scamming hotels, banks, and individuals out of nearly $275,000. As a result, she was sentenced to a prison term of four to 12 years, fined $24,000, and ordered to pay nearly $200,000 in restitution.

After serving less than four years, Delvey was released on parole in February 2021. Shortly thereafter, she was taken into ICE custody for overstaying her visa. Even now, Delvey continues to wear an ankle monitor while she fights deportation.
Notably, she made her ankle monitor a fashion statement by decorating it while competing on season 33 of Dancing With the Stars.
