Kylie Kelce Opens Up About Wardrobe Mishap at the Webby Awards
Kylie Kelce had a great attitude about her amusing wardrobe mishap at the 2026 Webby Awards.
“This week, I really had no business being at the Webby Awards to accept the Podcast of the Year Award for NGL,” Kelce, 34, remarked during a Thursday, May 14, edition of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “And yes, there’s a hair tie on my wrist,” she admitted while displaying a pic of her outfit. “Did I remember to take it off before hitting the red carpet? Definitely not.”
“Am I sporting open-toed shoes?” Kelce playfully continued, urging her followers not to “zoom in on the dogs.”
“Yes, I am. Should I have? Not really,” she laughed. “I shouldn’t have, but those were the only shoes I packed, and I didn’t know what I was wearing when I left home that morning.”
As she shared her fashion analysis amidst giggles, she mentioned she styled her own hair, which showcased a side part, a half-updo, and curled ends. “It looked fine from the front,” Kelce said. “Did it look good from the back? We might never know because I intentionally avoided turning my back to anyone.”
“Would I ever wear this outfit again? Only if I’m not around my kids,” she joked about the ivory suit, which she wouldn’t want to ruin near her four daughters with retired NFL player Jason Kelce: Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finnley “Finn,” 13 months old. “Why? You might wonder. Because it’s an ivory suit, people. I’d get close to them and somehow end up with ketchup on the sleeve.”
In her latest podcast episode, Kylie shared her thoughts on receiving the award, using her time on stage to “acknowledge [her] team as a whole.”
At the award ceremony, she made headlines with her five-word acceptance speech, which included a nod to Jason’s former team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
