Jennifer Lopez Reveals Covered Ben Affleck Tattoo in Bikini Photo

Jennifer Lopez gave her Bennifer tattoo a subtle update.

The 56-year-old singer shared new bikini photos over Memorial Day weekend, showcasing her infinity symbol tattoo that previously featured her and ex Ben Affleck’s names. The design is now partially visible.

Affleck’s name has been obscured, but the infinity symbol itself appears to remain intact three years after they got their tattoos together on Valentine’s Day in 2023, following their Las Vegas wedding. The Rip actor, 53, also has a matching tattoo, featuring their initials “J” and “B” entwined with two crossed arrows on his arm.

Lopez was seen at the pool in a white two-piece, revealing a glimpse of her revised tattoo while wearing a white Antica Sartoria crochet dress and embracing her son, Max, in one of her recent Instagram snapshots on Tuesday, May 26. (Lopez shares twins Max and Emme, both 18, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, with their marriage lasting from 2004 to 2014.)

Deuxmoi reported last year that the actress covered Affleck’s name with a hummingbird image, although it’s uncertain if that design has been added to her ink.

The former couple finalized their divorce in January 2025, two years after their marriage. Lopez filed on August 20, 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. They exchanged vows in Georgia in August 2022, following their Vegas ceremony in July of the same year.

Lopez and Affleck began dating in July 2002 and got engaged that November. The former Gigli co-stars initially planned to marry in September 2003 but called off the wedding just days prior to the ceremony.

Following their split, Affleck welcomed children Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel with ex Jennifer Garner. (Affleck and Garner married in 2005, separated in 2015, and finalized their divorce in 2018.)

As for Lopez and her children with Anthony, 57, the actress expressed that watching them grow has been her greatest joy, even as it turns bittersweet now that Max and Emme are preparing to head off to college.

“They’re going to get there and realize their dorms are too small,” she remarked during her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, May 27. “I hope they miss home and want to come back real soon. That’s my plan.”
