After gaining fame from Wednesday, Emma Myers stars in her very own Netflix original series, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. In its first season, Myers debuted as Pippa “Pip” Fitz-Amobi, a teen determined to uncover the truth behind the disappearance of a girl named Andie Bell (India Lillie Davies) that occurred five years ago. Many suspected that Andie’s boyfriend, Sal Singh (Rahul Pattni), was involved in her disappearance, which leads his younger brother, Ravi (Zain Iqbal), to join Pip in discovering the truth.

1. ‘Law and Order’ (1990 – 2010, 2022 – Present)

IMDb rank: 7.8

Everything that was old is new again—especially when your series is part of the enduring Law & Order franchise. Ever wonder if NBC executives regret canceling the original Law & Order in 2010? Even after an 11-year break, the flagship series remains one of the longest-running shows on television. Netflix currently offers seasons 21 and 22, while seasons 23 and 24 recently debuted in late May as a double feature for loyal fans.

Law & Order was groundbreaking in the ’90s for structuring episodes to first show the police investigation, then transition the story to the courtroom, where prosecutors needed to earn their convictions. Sam Waterston portrayed District Attorney Jack McCoy for much of the show’s history, but season 23 marks his final appearance in that role, introducing his successor, District Attorney Nicholas Baxter (Tony Goldwyn). Although the cast frequently changes, the show continues to draw from real-world headlines for its storylines.

Law and Order seasons 23 and 24 are now streaming on Netflix.
