What Time Does Love Island USA Season 8 Air? Release Schedule Details

We’re back at the Love Island USA villa — but when can we expect new episodes to be released?

Season 8 of the Peacock sensation kicks off on Tuesday, June 2, featuring a group of singles who must pair off to remain in the lavish villa in Fiji. The contestants, known as Islanders, live in seclusion and are under continuous video surveillance.

Hosted by Ariana Madix, Love Island USA requires contestants to be coupled up to compete for the $100,000 prize. While the Islanders are filming for weeks on end, viewers can tune in to daily episodes, and even vote to impact the couples and the contestants’ futures.

New episodes of Love Island USA air every day at 9 p.m. ET (except Wednesdays!). Additionally, a new Aftersun special airs every Saturday to recap the week’s events in the villa.

Before season 8 even began on Peacock, the official Love Island USA account made an announcement concerning the cast.

“The Villa thrives on positive vibes, and so does this community,” was the message shared via Instagram. “We appreciate your reactions, opinions, and discussions, but it’s important that everyone feels safe and respected.”

The message continued: “This is a space for enjoyment, not negativity — so keep it kind, keep it upbeat, and remember: this is LOVE Island!”

Love Island USA made headlines when contestant Vasana Montgomery was removed just before the season 8 premiere due to resurfaced social media posts where she used a slur. These clips were leaked from her private social media, which the producers were unaware of during the casting process.

The controversy arose a year after season 7 dealt with offscreen issues involving Yulissa Escobar, who exited days after clips of her using racial slurs on a podcast spread online.

Cierra Ortega also encountered backlash when old social media posts of hers surfaced, leading to her removal from the villa and a subsequent apology for her comments.
