Riley Burruss’ Boyfriend Makes His NYC Next Gen Debut

Riley Burruss is eager to share insights into her love life.

In the Wednesday, July 8 episode of Bravo’s Next Gen NYC, viewers were introduced to Riley’s boyfriend, Christian.

“I have a new boyfriend,” Riley, 23, revealed during a confessional interview. “He’s incredibly sweet, very caring, and he’s a bit of a nerd, which I adore. We play music videos and just dance around.”

While enjoying dinner in New York City, the couple reflected on their recent trips together — some of which haven’t made it to Instagram.

“I feel like we’ve hardly spent time in New York,” Riley told Christian. “[My favorite trip was] Korea.”

Christian responded, “I think it’s difficult to find someone you can spend two weeks with without getting annoyed. I appreciate that we can travel without arguing.”

During dinner, Riley also seemed to update Christian on the latest drama within her friend circle.

Ahead of the season 2 premiere of Next Gen NYC in June, Riley hinted that her dating life might feature in future episodes.

“I keep it very private,” she told Us Weekly exclusively. “I truly value this relationship, so you might catch a glimpse of it. You never know.”

At the same time, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star acknowledged that sharing her dating journey on reality TV could draw public interest. She referenced her mom, Kandi Burruss, whose 2014 wedding to Todd Tucker was featured in a Bravo special called Kandi’s Wedding. (The couple later split in November 2025 after 11 years of marriage.)

“I’ve observed my mom’s relationship over time, and I understand her journey,” Riley noted. “I pay attention to her advice and experiences. This will be new for me, but we’ll see how it goes.”

Riley’s mom is a big supporter of Christian. In a 2025 appearance on Sherri, Kandi praised her daughter’s boyfriend.

“I love him because he’s intelligent, and he encourages her to improve herself,” Kandi, 50, shared on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show. “He’s ambitious and educated. I’m truly optimistic about the future.”

Next Gen NYC airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET. Catch new episodes the next day on Peacock.
