Lisa Barlow Responds to Several Breakups on RHOSLC
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Lisa Barlow is dedicated to strengthening her marriage with John Barlow — and not concerned with anyone else’s.
“I adore marriage. I cherish the unity it brings, although it doesn’t suit everyone,” Lisa, 51, shared exclusively with Us at The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th launch event on Tuesday, August 4, in New York City. “Nonetheless, we hope everyone does what feels right for them and their families. Fortunately, we are at a stage where separations are announced instead of divorces. That’s the silver lining in all of this.”
The Bravo star commented, “In my view, where you direct your energy will yield the results, and that’s a personal choice.”
Earlier this summer, it was revealed that Angie Katsanevas and her spouse, Shawn Trujillo, had parted ways after almost 30 years together. Similarly, Whitney Rose and her husband, Justin Rose, also split after 16 years of marriage.
Following her co-stars’ separation announcements, Lisa sparked curiosity when she shared a picture with John captioned, “Partners in it all.”
When questioned if it was a commentary on her co-stars’ breakups, Lisa clarified her motivation behind the post.
“My focus is solely on my family and my life. If you listen to [my song] ‘Baby Gorgeous,’ the lyrics say, ‘I just live my life. You can take a bite and just taste it.’ It was about celebrating my business, my marriage, and my family. We have many wonderful things happening together, and I was simply emphasizing us,” she explained at The Lobster Club. “If others wish to interpret it differently, that’s on them. It was solely about my union, my partnership, my love, and our brand.”
The founder of VIDA Tequila added, “I’m not concerned with anyone else. I wish them all the best, but I’m focusing on my own journey.”
This summer, audiences will witness Lisa embark on an unforgettable girls’ trip when she joins Vicki Gunvalson, Kyle Richards, Gizelle Bryant, Teresa Giudice, and more Housewives for RHUGT: Roaring 20th.
“I connected with everyone in such a special and unique way. They are my girls. I love each of them,” she shared.
Tune in to see the group’s dynamics when The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th premieres on Bravo Sunday, August 9, at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes will be available for streaming the following day on Peacock.
