Celine Dion Previously Wore Kylie Jenner’s Wedding Guest Dress
It appears that Kylie Jenner might have drawn her fashion inspiration from the iconic Céline Dion.
On August 15, while celebrating the wedding of Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns, Jenner, 29, captivated everyone in a black Roberto Cavalli gown previously donned by Dion, 58. The striking dress featured a halter neck, side cutouts embellished with silver crystals, and a daring thigh-high slit, making her look absolutely ethereal.
To complete her ensemble, she accessorized with a statement ring and clear heels. Her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, who also attended the wedding, sported a leather blazer paired with a gingham dress shirt. While some critics claimed Jenner’s look was a bit too provocative for the event, others defended her outfit, stating it adhered to the all-black dress code.
Social media was abuzz with reactions to Jenner’s bold appearance.
“The dress was already pushing it, but the see-through heels are just absurd for a wedding?!” one user remarked, while another commented, “Her dress stands out from everyone else for showcasing so much skin.” A third individual agreed, stating, “That is way too much skin for a wedding. Céline Dion, on the other hand, previously wore the cream version of the dress during the 2003 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. Complementing the delicate crystals, she accessorized with silver peep-toe heels and diamond earrings.
Dion enhanced her look with contoured cheeks, filled-in eyebrows, voluminous lashes, and sparkling eyeshadow. She completed her makeup with glossy lips and a touch of mascara. At the time, her platinum blonde hair was styled in a pixie cut with voluminous curls at the ends.
This isn’t the first occasion where Jenner has coincidentally matched with another celebrity.
