Chelsea Houska Commemorates Aubree’s 17th Birthday
Teen Mom 2 alum Chelsea Houska has witnessed her eldest daughter, Aubree, grow up right before her eyes.
“17. They say it goes by quickly, but wow,” Chelsea, 35, posted on Instagram on Monday, September 7. “To think that she’s the same age I was when I first learned I was having her is… insane.”
She added, “I love the person she’s becoming, and I can’t wait to see the woman she will turn into. Happy HAPPY birthday, Aubree ❤️.”
In Chelsea’s post, she included a selfie with her husband Cole DeBour, alongside the teen, who sported teal hair and blunt-cut bangs.
Chelsea shares Aubree with her ex-boyfriend Adam Lind, and together with Cole, 38, they are parents to three younger children.
“We actually don’t get tired of each other,” Chelsea told Us exclusively in November 2025 about collaborating with Cole on HGTV’s Down Home Fab. “We just have so much fun. We often do little lunch dates, so we’re lucky to spend so much time together.”
Cole regards Chelsea as his “best friend,” making it an easy choice to work side by side. (The HGTV couple also operates their own boutique.)
“One thing I’ve learned is it’s important to have a team and delegate tasks instead of trying to handle everything on your own,” he noted, while Chelsea mentioned she has learned to “accept help” in their pursuits.
“Entering the HGTV scene, we were novices, especially in remodeling,” Chelsea shared with Us at the time. “Gaining that confidence over the last three years, I now feel like we belong here. As a huge HGTV fan, it’s surreal to meet the people I’ve watched on TV, and I’m like, ‘This is incredible.’”
Alongside their flourishing decorating businesses, Chelsea and Cole consistently prioritize their family.
“She possesses such a distinct sense of style. She’s so into makeup, which I like to think she’s picked up from me a little,” Chelsea previously told Us in March 2025, raving about Aubree. “Everyone always exclaims, ‘Aubree’s 15? That makes me feel so old.’ I know! Just imagine how I feel. I feel ancient, but she’s just incredibly cool and self-assured, and I adore that about her.”
Chelsea feels particularly “proud” of Aubree’s confidence.
“I’m beyond proud of her. Reflecting on my own experiences at her age, I remember always wanting to fit in or be someone I wasn’t,” the MTV alum reflected. “She’s genuinely sure of herself, and confident in her style and identity. I find that truly amazing about her.”
