Mariah Carey’s Children Are Almost as Tall as She Is in Rare Snapshot
Mariah Carey’s twins, Moroccan and Monroe, are now 15 years old and growing up quickly.
“Twinning 💕,” Carey, 57, shared on Instagram on Thursday, September 10, along with photo booth pictures from their recent trip to the Arte Museum in New York City.
In the photos, the pop legend is beaming as she stands between Moroccan and Monroe, both of whom were flashing peace signs. The twins are almost the same height as Carey now.
Moroccan also posted additional family photos to his Instagram account with the caption, “On a lark.”
Carey shares Moroccan and Monroe with her ex-husband Nick Cannon.
“How do I say this? They enjoy their time with him, and they have a great time,” Carey told Harper’s Bazaar in July 2025, discussing their coparenting situation. “They spend time with me, too, and have a wonderful time. I strive to be fair about it because growing up with divorced parents can be challenging.”
Carey and Cannon, 45, were married from 2008 until 2014, with their divorce finalized two years later. The Masked Singer host has 10 younger children from other relationships.
“I thank God for their mothers. They plan ahead, and though they don’t need to, they are very understanding of my situation,” Cannon told Us in an exclusive 2024 interview. “I’ve seen them make many sacrifices to ensure that I haven’t missed a birthday or a birth yet.”
However, Moroccan and Monroe haven’t always felt close to their half-siblings.
“Just to clarify guys, I only have ONE brother,” Monroe posted on her Instagram Stories in November 2025, referring to Moroccan. “I do have other half-siblings from my dad, but they are all much younger than me!”
Cannon later addressed his eldest daughter’s viral comments.
“It’s amusing because people thought it was about something deeper, but it was just a conversation between 14-year-olds,” he said on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast in May. “My daughter just wanted to clarify that she has only one brother, in her age group. … The world jumped in on a teenage gossip situation and tried to turn it into something else, which upset my daughter. She said, ‘I didn’t mean that. I said my dad has other kids.’”
Cannon mentioned that he took the opportunity to educate Monroe about social media.
“I told her, ‘Monroe, you don’t have to justify yourself to anyone, but this should serve as a lesson that you need to be careful about what you put out on social media,’” he recounted. “People will seize on the smallest things and blow them up into situations beyond your control.”
