DCC’s Faith Ward Unveils Her Revised Ponytail Tutorial
Faith Ward‘s ponytail has reached new heights in volume.
“Alright ladies, we have Soph working on Patty today,” Ward, 23, mentioned via TikTok, referring to her teammate Sophia Laufer and her ponytail extension, which she affectionately calls Patricia. “She is my queen.”
Laufer, 22, started by applying texture spray to enhance both the volume and hold of her ponytail. “I don’t know what Soph does back there, but she really knows how to tease it up,” Ward remarked. “When I do it myself, people think I’ve gotten a new ponytail … it’s just that I haven’t been doing it alone! Now that I have assistance, we can achieve that quintessential Texas tease pony.”
In the following clip, Laufer was seen lifting sections of Ward’s blonde hair and teasing it with a fine-toothed comb. “We’re going to tease all the layers,” she said while looking at the camera.
“That’s why we’re in this mid-motion moment, as we are working with layers now,” Ward explained, indicating the portion of her hair that was sectioned off. “It’s not just about teasing it all at once.” She then showed the camera her in-progress ponytail, which was already overflowing with volume.
Ward went on to describe how she styled the “top part” of her ponytail. “Honestly, I’m not quite sure what I’m doing,” she admitted while applying gel to her hair. She smoothed it with a boar-bristle brush, which is ideal for achieving slick backs, and teased her roots. “I’m just going to spritz it,” she chuckled as she added some hairspray.

Ward then pulled out a light blonde hair tie. “I prefer these softer ones so they aren’t too harsh on my hair, but my hair is probably going to fall out anyway. Nothing wrong with a little receding hairline!”
After securing her hair, Ward noticed she had a “huge, huge bump.” Laufer and their other teammate, Sophia Brown, swiftly stepped in to smooth it out without unraveling her entire bun. As a final touch, Laufer curled the ends of Ward’s hair. “It looks so full and gorgeous!” Ward exclaimed while showcasing the final result to her followers. “Wow!”
