Is Riley Green Currently Single?

As of September 2026, Green finds himself single. He spoke candidly about his relationship status in December 2025 during an episode of Theo Von’s “This Past Week” podcast, stating, “Meeting someone is not easy when you’re on the road like we are.”

He added, “I don’t want to draw attention to myself when it’s not the right moment. … At a restaurant, it doesn’t bother me when fans ask for a picture. I just prefer not to stand up causing a scene.”

When asked about settling down and embracing romance, Green admitted, “I could take time off for a month, but with everything on the horizon and the current opportunities, it’s hard to justify it. A few years down the line, I envision things slowing down, where I could settle into a routine of playing 40 to 60 shows a year. I may even work on a TV or film project and then have a life outside of music. But right now, that seems challenging.”

Stepping Out With Sophia Sansone

In April 2022, romance rumors swirled around music executive Sophia Sansone after they attended the CMT Music Awards together in Nashville. At the time, she was referred to as Green’s “guest,” but no further information was disclosed.

Although Green didn’t discuss their relationship directly, he invited Sansone to be his date for the CMA Awards later that year, appearing to confirm their romantic involvement. The two were seen engaging comfortably on the red carpet, though their connection seemed to fade shortly thereafter.

Addressing Ella Langley Romance Rumors

Since collaborating on “You Look Like You Love Me” and “Don’t Mind If I Do” in 2024, Ella Langley has formed a close bond with Green. Their playful and flirtatious music video alongside appearances at various award shows throughout 2025 fueled speculation about a potential romance.

However, in June 2025, Green clarified that they were simply friends.

“I’ve been rumored to date quite a few individuals, and it’s understandable why. Fans often yearn for that Tim [McGraw] and Faith [Hill], Johnny [Cash] and June [Carter], George [Jones] and Tammy [Wynette] dynamic,” Green stated during an appearance on the Country Nights With Bev Rainey show. “Me and Ella have two huge songs together, and I believe fans want to think there’s a real connection behind the lyrics.”

He firmly stated that he was “not” dating anyone at that moment.

Green humorously remarked, “Ella’s probably too smart to date me anyway,” during a December 2024 visit on “The Viall Files” podcast.

“At the onset of our success with that song, I told Ella, ‘There will be plenty of speculation, but we don’t have to either play into it or ignore it,’” Green recalled. “People derive enjoyment from these narratives, just as we do when we listen to the song.”

Langley shared with Taste of Country in September 2024 that Green was “probably the first famous person” she had met while pursuing her music career but reiterated, “We’re not dating. We’re simply good friends.”

Megan Moroney Enters the Mix

In January 2025, Megan Moroney became the subject of dating rumors with Green after they allegedly shared a vacation. At the time, videos surfaced on TikTok suggesting that Moroney and Green were together in the Saint-Jean coastal area of Saint Barthélemy (St. Barts), as she tagged the location in her posts.

Eager fans noticed that Moroney and Green both shared similar photos of themselves swimming with sharks. Furthermore, when Moroney posted a picture of a large fish she caught during an outing, some TikTok users speculated that Green’s hand was visible in the corner of the frame.

Additionally, a TikTok user pointed out that Moroney seemed to be wearing Green’s cowboy hat, claiming to have evidence of it being the same accessory.

Despite the buzz, Green asserted his single status again in March 2025. When questioned during an episode of the “In the Blind” podcast whether he was currently dating anyone, he quickly responded, “Single. That was an easy one.”

During an interview, host Eric Gunderson jokingly asked, “How single?” to which Green replied, “Pretty damn.”

While he shifted the topic back to his music, Green later spoke about Moroney, who substituted for Ella Langley in November 2024, performing “Don’t Mind If I Do” with him.

Green expressed admiration for Moroney’s performance of “Ain’t Nothing ‘Bout You” alongside Brooks & Dunn, claiming she possessed stronger vocal skills compared to him.

“I did the Brooks & Dunn Reboot this time, and when I listened to it, my favorite song was not mine. Moroney’s version of ‘[Ain’t] Nothing ‘Bout You’ was incredible,” Green said during the interview. “I completely forgot about that song. I wish I could’ve had that opportunity, but it’s challenging to take something that was already great and make it your own. That version had a rather rock-infused vibe — truly unique.”

In late 2025, rumors circulated about a love triangle involving Moroney, Langley, and Green, to which Moroney responded in November, stating, “I’m not dating anyone right now. I’m too busy.”

Bringing Bryana Ferringer to the CMAs

Riley caused quite a stir when he showed up at the 2025 CMA Awards in November with Bryana Ferringer. Although they didn’t walk the red carpet together, camera shots revealed Ferringer sitting beside him during the event. This appearance came a few months after he was initially linked to the influencer in summer 2025.

Ferringer, who previously dated country artist Tucker Wetmore, was captured with Green in a TikTok video posted that August.

Green talked about bringing Ferringer as his CMA date during a December 2025 interview with Elaina Smith on her Backstage Country radio show, insisting they are merely friends. “It’s a bit awkward to avoid the idea of having a date at an award ceremony. Typically, I go solo or have a security detail or a buddy with me, so I just invited a friend,” Green stated in an interview featured on Holler Country.

“We had a great time together,” he remarked regarding Ferringer. “My mom has accompanied me in the past. So this was my first or second award show date ever. I suppose the fact that I’ve become prominent enough has turned this into a pretty big deal.”
