The Suits franchise continues with a new spinoff titled Suits LA.
Suits LA introduces fresh characters played by Stephen Amell, Bryan Greenberg, Josh McDermitt, and Lex Scott Davis. Set in a different location, it remains within the same universe as the original series.
Suits aired for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019 and saw a surge in popularity after Netflix added it to its platform in June 2023. The narrative revolves around Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who manages to convince a prestigious law firm in New York City to hire him, despite being a college dropout who never passed the LSAT.
Building on the success of Suits, a spinoff titled Pearson was produced focusing on Gina Torres’ character, Jessica Pearson. This show lasted for one season before its cancellation in 2019.

What Is ‘Suits LA’ About?
The series features Ted Black (Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York who has “reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles.”
According to the official logline shared by Variety, “His firm is at a crisis point, and to survive he must embrace a role he has held in contempt throughout his career. Ted finds himself surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to him and each other, while their personal and professional lives intertwine. Tensions rise as past events resurface that led Ted to abandon everything and everyone he cherished.”
Who Is in the ‘Suits LA’ Cast?
Joining Amell, the esteemed cast will also feature McDermitt as Stuart Lane, a co-founder of Black Lane Law along with Black. Davis takes on the role of Erica Rollins, “a clever and determined rising star working for Ted Black,” according to Deadline.
Greenberg was confirmed as a series regular on March 14, portraying Rick Dodson, Black’s protégé at the law firm, with a competitive dynamic emerging as both he and Rollins strive for a promotion.

Indeed, Gabriel Macht is set to reprise his role as Harvey Specter in a recurring capacity.
“When an old friend is in need…it’s time to step in and make things right,” Macht remarked in an Instagram post featuring Harvey’s personalized dress shirt and shoes in November 2024.
