Grimes Calls on Elon Musk to Address Their Child’s Health Emergency
Grimes has made an urgent public appeal to ex Elon Musk regarding a “medical crisis” involving one of their three children.
“I apologize for bringing this to the public sphere, but this situation can no longer be ignored,” Grimes (whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher) wrote through X on Thursday, February 20, according to Page Six. “This needs immediate action. If you don’t wish to engage directly, could you please appoint someone who can, so we can work on resolving this? This is urgent, Elon.”
In a since-deleted message, the 36-year-old singer allegedly accused Musk, 53, of not communicating with her.
“I’m not going into details, but he hasn’t replied to texts, calls, or emails and has missed every meeting. Our child may face lifelong consequences if he doesn’t respond immediately, so I need him to f—ing respond. If public pressure is what it takes, then so be it,” she asserted.
Grimes and Musk are parents to three children: sons X Æ A-Xii, 4, and Techno Mechanicus, 2, as well as daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, 3. The duo began their relationship in 2018 before ultimately separating in September 2021.
Us Weekly has reached out for comments from Musk’s representatives.
In September 2024, Grimes filed a lawsuit against Musk concerning the parental rights over their three children. According to documents reviewed by Us Weekly, the singer of “Oblivion” filed a “petition to establish parental relationship” in San Francisco’s Superior Court.
In addition to his children with Grimes, Musk is also a father to kids with several other women.
Earlier this month, author Ashley St. Clair disclosed that she had welcomed a baby with Musk five months ago — marking his 13th child.
“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she shared via X on Friday, February 14. “I had kept this private for our child’s safety, but it’s become clear that tabloid media will disclose it, irrespective of the harm it may cause.”
In addition to his three children with Grimes, Musk has three kids with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis: a newborn allegedly born in early 2024 and twins Strider and Azure, both born in November 2021.
Musk also shares six children with ex-wife Justine Wilson. Musk and Wilson, 51, were married from 2000 to 2008 and have twins Vivian and Griffin, both 20, along with triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, all 18. The couple also sorrowfully shared son Nevada, who died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) at the age of 10 weeks in 2002.
