Meghann Fahy Turned to Rent the Runway Prior to Hiring a Stylist
Meghann Fahy shared her previous red-carpet styles ahead of anyone else.
This 34-year-old actress took to Instagram on Friday, March 6, to evaluate her past fashion choices before critics could.
Reflecting on her sultry Valentino outfit from the 2023 Daily Front Row’s Fashion Awards in Los Angeles, Fahy remarked, “Honestly, someone stole my shirt.” Her daring look featured just a black bralette with triangular cups and a bow at the center, paired with black flared trousers. She finished the ensemble with beachy waves and dangling earrings.
The White Lotus star then reminisced about her latest red-carpet appearance at the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards in February 2025, saying, “This is cute,” with a smile as she looked at her Saint Laurent dress that had one sleeve, a side cutout tied with silky bows, and a thigh-high slit. “I liked this.”
Next, Fahy took us back to 2012, showcasing a plunging little black dress she wore at the New York City premiere of Political Animals. “Pre-stylist,” she noted, revealing it was from Rent the Runway. Since then, she has collaborated with stylist Thomas Carter Phillips.
As she moved to a pleated pink skirt and salmon blazer from the 2019 Walt Disney Television Upfront event, she humorously referred to the Glinda-inspired outfit as an “Unofficial Wicked collab.” She then jumped to 2023, where she dazzled in a white one-shoulder Ralph Lauren dress at the SAG Awards, calling it the “peak” of her fashion.
She also shared a brief glimpse of her unique cutout catsuit from the Bold Type premiere in 2017, but chose not to comment on the striking design. Holding back laughter, Fahy covered her mouth before transitioning to what she called perhaps her most daring look yet: a completely sheer outfit by Victoria Beckham.
The ensemble featured a plunging bodysuit with an open back and was teamed with a matching lace skirt that showcased her legs. Fahy humorously referred to the silky outfit as “underpants.”
