Eva Longoria Celebrates Son Santi’s 7th Birthday with Exclusive Photos

Eva Longoria is embracing motherhood, celebrating seven wonderful years with her son, Santi, whom she shares with her husband José Bastón.

“Happy 7th birthday to my Santi💕,” Longoria, 50, shared on Instagram on Thursday, June 19. “I love you so so much!”

The Desperate Housewives star marked the special occasion for her son with a large silver “7” balloon, as seen in her uploaded photos.

In the snapshot, Longoria kissed Santi on the cheek while dressed in a robe and sporting her hair half-up in a clip, indicating she was in the midst of getting ready. The little birthday boy wore a soccer jersey, beaming as he sat in his mom’s lap.

Longoria also posted several images showcasing their sweet bond while enjoying a day at the beach. In three additional photos, she donned a cream baseball cap, a white fitted tank top, and white pants.

Santi was dressed in a white rash guard with a rainbow stripe, paired with palm-printed trunks. His hair was wet in the photos, while Longoria’s curls remained perfectly styled.

“Happy Birthday Santi!! X We love you xxxxx,” commented Victoria Beckham, one of Longoria’s closest friends, in response. Fellow actress Melanie Griffith also extended her best wishes, commenting, “Happy Birthday Santi!!! 🎉💫❤️.” Mario Lopez added, “HBD Santi!” in the comments.

Longoria and Bastón, 57, exchanged vows in May 2016 in Acapulco, Mexico. Two years later, their son Santi was born. He is Bastón’s fourth child, as he shares Jose, Tali, and Mariana with his ex-wife, Natalia Esperón.

While Bastón was already familiar with fatherhood, the birth of Santi in June 2018 marked a new chapter for Longoria.

“[The toughest part was] the lack of sleep during breastfeeding,” Longoria shared exclusively with Us Weekly in July 2019, reflecting on her first year with Santi. “Waking up every three hours was exhausting, but incredibly rewarding in its own way.”

The following month, the Land of Women actress conveyed that having her first child in her 40s was precisely what she needed. “He was meant to be with me at this stage,” Longoria conveyed to Parents Latina in her August/September 2019 cover story.

She elaborated, “I’m more patient now, and I don’t work as much, even if it may not seem that way!”

As Santi entered his toddler years, Longoria shared exclusively with Us how much she enjoys the “experimental” nature of her child.

“Every new stage is more fun than the last,” she stated in December 2021. “It was challenging before, but now I’m not as tired. I’m more in the mindset of, ‘I need to be present because his little mind is developing.’”
