Paige DeSorbo Shares the Outfits She Dreamed of Wearing on Love Island

Paige DeSorbo has finally opened up about her original outfit choice for her guest appearance on Love Island USA.

On Thursday, June 19, the 32-year-old DeSorbo took to TikTok to showcase the ensemble she had initially planned for her guest role in season 7 of Love Island. However, after being invited to host a lumberjack-themed event, she opted for a stylish suede creation by LaQuan Smith.

First up, the founder of Daphne presented a sheer bronze dress adorned with sequins, featuring cutout sides, a daring thigh-high slit, and a chic open back. “I had it hemmed [to make the slit higher],” she pointed out while flaunting the sultry design. “I feel like it’s totally in line with Love Island,” she exclaimed with excitement.

Next, DeSorbo donned a vibrant green dress characterized by an artistic neckline, a sheer bodice, and a high-low hem. “Originally, it had green straps, but I swapped them for clear ones to give it a floating effect,” she noted while gesturing to her neckline. “So Love Island,” she reiterated enthusiastically.

DeSorbo also modeled a striking yellow-and-teal mini dress embellished with sequin details and sheer cutouts paired with a V-neckline. “I was really fond of this one and considered taking it to Italy, but it’s a bit too audacious for a family getaway,” she commented on the daring design. She jokingly added that it gave off an “ice skater” vibe. “No regrets, I’m obsessed,” she proclaimed.

The host of the “Giggly Squad” podcast shared that she could potentially wear any of these stunning outfits on Love Island: Aftersun, where she will discuss the show’s drama alongside host Ariana Madix. However, she already has “another dress in mind for that” occasion.

DeSorbo’s eye-catching outfits come after she clarified her abrupt exit from the show’s challenge during a Tuesday, June 17 episode of “Giggly Squad.”

“It’s wild. We film for a long time and started pretty early in the morning,” Paige recalled. “I had just arrived and hadn’t even been there for a full 24 hours. I wasn’t acclimated at all. But I’m okay. I won’t act like a diva; I’m doing my job,” she explained, discussing how she underestimated the heat in Fiji, particularly while wearing “a full suede skirt.”

She continued, “About an hour and a half or two hours in, I started feeling nauseous and ended up throwing up. We took a proper break, and I told them, ‘Guys, I don’t feel like myself.’”

Although DeSorbo pushed to keep filming, she eventually fainted from the heat.

“I literally sat down and blacked out. They were like, ‘Okay, we’ll check your blood pressure and take a break,’” she recounted. “They brought me back into the room where I had to admit, ‘Guys, I’m really sorry, but I just can’t continue.’ We only had two people left. It was tough for me to say that, but I had to put myself first.”

DeSorbo wrapped up the episode by expressing her gratitude to the crew for their understanding.
