Carlson played Kimber Henry in Nip/Tuck from 2003 to 2010, while McMahon portrayed Christian Troy.
“It’s a bit hard to process since he was my on-and-off husband for several years, a good friend, and my acting counterpart,” Carlson reflected. “Anyways, Jules, thank you for those incredible seven years on Nip/Tuck. We had a great time.”
The actress also expressed her understanding for fans of both the show and McMahon who were feeling distressed by the news, finding comfort in the fact that he lived a fulfilling life.
“I hope he finds peace on his journey. I wish him a peaceful journey, knowing he lived a full and wonderful life,” she stated.
As she wrapped up the video, Carlson said, “Alright Jules, we’ll see you on the other side.”
The news of McMahon’s death, also celebrated for his roles in Charmed, Fantastic Four, and FBI: Most Wanted, was shared by his wife, Kelly McMahon, in a statement to Deadline on Friday, July 4.
