Hannah Brown Hopes for a Reunion Between Susie and Justin on Bachelor in Paradise
Drama levels rise when exes collide by the shore.
The 10th season of Bachelor in Paradise brings back former couple Justin Glaze and Susie Evans, who were in a relationship off-screen after their appearances on season 17 of The Bachelorette and season 26 of The Bachelor, respectively.
“The big question is, ‘Is Justin truly over his ex?’” bartender Wells Adams shared in an interview with Us Weekly. “My suggestion is that the best way to move on from an ex is to find someone new, and there are plenty of options available here. That’s what we’ll have to see unfold. Let’s find out what’s in store.”
Wells expressed his support for Justin, who made his entrance at the Costa Rica resort during the premiere on July 7. “I genuinely believe he’s a wonderful guy, and I’m shocked he hasn’t found his match yet because he’s handsome, funny, charming, and successful. It’s one of those mysteries that baffles me,” he elaborated. (Susie, on her end, had a brief relationship with season 26 Bachelor Clayton Echard, which lasted less than a year, culminating six months after the March 2022 finale.)
Hannah Brown, who participated in season 10 of BiP as “Paradise Relations,” confessed to Us that she was emotionally invested in the pre-show dynamic between Justin and Susie.
“I’ve experienced my fair share of situations involving exes. It certainly creates some drama,” Hannah stated. “The tension was palpable, and I genuinely care for both of them. I just wanted them both to enjoy their individual experiences. Honestly, there were times I wished for a rekindling because I enjoy observing their relationship on social media. It’s fascinating to see how they interact, and it certainly adds excitement.”
After forming a friendship in late 2022, both 31, Justin and Susie started to date quietly in fall 2023. As speculation arose, they confirmed their relationship in January 2024.
“I was candid with her, saying, ‘I don’t know how you feel about our friendship and relationship. I value our friendship immensely, but I’d be lying if I said I haven’t considered the possibility of more since there’s been a natural chemistry between us,’” he recounted to E! News at the time.
In August, rumors about their split emerged. He informed Us that they were taking things “one day at a time.”
“We’re spending time to determine what’s best for us,” he mentioned.
In December 2024, Evans provided further details about their relationship status (before they ultimately parted ways).
“We are working on our relationship, figuring out if it makes sense for us while taking our time and being private about it. We’re just evaluating what truly aligns with us,” she shared on the “Almost Famous” podcast at that moment. “A significant aspect of life is compatibility. We’re at different life stages and need to determine if we are truly compatible.”
Bachelor in Paradise airs on ABC on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
