Hollywood’s icons are redefining beauty standards by growing out their body hair.
From Miley Cyrus flaunting pink armpit hair in 2015 to Phoebe Bridgers showcasing her underarm hair at a red carpet event in 2023, celebrities are embracing their natural selves.
Take Bekah Martinez, who addressed a negative comment regarding her unshaven leg hair in July 2025. The Bachelor Nation star revealed that she began “sneaking” her mother’s razors in third grade due to teasing from “family, friends, and even coaches” about her body hair.
She further explained that she chose to stop shaving while pregnant with her first child, so her kids would learn that body hair on women is perfectly natural.
Other celebrities who have embraced their body hair include Madonna and her daughter Lourdes Leon, Julia Roberts, Halsey, Bella Thorne, and Rowan Blanchard.
