Since its premiere on Bravo in 2013, Lisa Vanderpump‘s establishments have been integral to the show’s most compelling story arcs. Initially, viewers met the cast as they navigated the trials and tribulations of working at Vanderpump’s various venues in Los Angeles, primarily at SUR.
Over time, the TV personalities transitioned from bartenders and waitstaff to prominent figures, yet Vanderpump’s restaurants frequently remained a focal point of the unfolding drama. Some cast members even ventured to establish their own businesses, seeking Vanderpump’s guidance along the way.
However, the actors’ personal dramas have sometimes negatively affected their financial success. In March 2023, when it was revealed that Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix had ended their nearly decade-long relationship due to his involvement with fellow cast member Raquel Leviss, Sandoval faced repercussions in his career.
