Brandi Carlile Postpones Tour Due to Personal Reasons
Singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile announced that she must reschedule her upcoming U.K. and European tour due to “personal circumstances.”
“I regret to inform you that due to personal circumstances, I am compelled to move my UK and European tour from this fall to the spring,” Carlile, 45, shared via Instagram on Friday, August 7. “This decision has caused me a great deal of anxiety, and I understand that it may disappoint many of you, especially those traveling internationally. I hope this notice provides you enough time to adjust your plans.”
The “Right on Time” singer was initially set to launch a European leg of her Human tour in Dublin on October 15, performing in cities like London, Amsterdam, and Stockholm through early November.
Changes have been made to some venues for the new spring 2027 tour, resulting in refunds for original ticketholders who will need to repurchase tickets. You can find a complete list of rescheduled European tour dates on Carlile’s website.
“My team has been diligently working behind the scenes to reschedule the tour with minimal disruption,” Carlile explained. “Due to venue availability, a few locations have changed, but we deemed it more crucial to return and perform these shows as soon as possible. The silver lining is that we’ve also been able to add more shows, which I’m thrilled about!”
Unfortunately, the musician has had to cancel one date at Sagres Campo Pequeno in Lisbon, Portugal — originally set for November 1 — due to a lack of available rescheduling options.
“To my cherished Portuguese fans, regrettably, Lisbon was the only show we couldn’t fit into the new schedule,” she shared. “I apologize and promise to return as soon as possible.”
The positive news for fans in the U.S. is that Carlile will continue her tour throughout the summer and early fall, with domestic concert dates unaffected. She is set to perform at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, among other venues, wrapping up her Human trek on September 27 with a featured slot at the All Things Go Festival in Columbia, Maryland.

“Thank you all for your patience and understanding. I truly want to see my friends across the pond, and I did everything possible to avoid rescheduling,” she assured her U.K. and European fans. “I sincerely hope you will all come back in the spring. I promise it will be worth your wait!”
Carlile’s tour supports her 2025 album, Returning to Myself, which marked her fifth top 10 album on the Billboard 200 chart when it reached No. 7 last November. The album includes high-profile collaborations with Elton John, producer Andrew Watt, Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, and Chad Smith, drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
