Brooks Nader Humors Past Nip Slips at Fashion Awards
Brooks Nader expressed her surprise at winning the Breakthrough Fashion Talent award, especially after experiencing numerous wardrobe malfunctions.
The 29-year-old model spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about her frequent nip slips during The Daily Front Row‘s 10th annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards, held on Tuesday, April 14, and sponsored by DAOU Vineyards.
When asked about her recurring fashion mishaps, Nader chuckled and remarked, “You said it, not me! It’s true. I’m known to have an occasional nip slip. That’s why it’s so shocking to receive this award, but I’m honored.”
The Love Thy Nader star emphasized that perfection isn’t a requirement for recognition. “As Miley Cyrus said in her Hannah Montana song: ‘Nobody’s perfect,’” she added.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model mentioned that she feels her “most beautiful” during those “imperfect moments.”
“People often say, ‘That happened to me too,’ which reminds us that we’re all human, and these things can occur to anyone,” she noted.
Upon learning she’d won Daily Front Row’s Breakthrough Fashion Talent award, Nader told Us that she “cried.”
“I felt so honored because Daily Front Row has been a significant part of my journey in the fashion world. It was my first cover, and receiving this award is a tremendous honor,” she explained.
Nader had previously shared her experiences with nip slips in November 2025.

“I have so many,” she joked at an Alice + Olivia event. When asked if she had ever experienced an intentional nip slip, Nader responded, “No! When the actual areola shows, it’s never on purpose.”
“I swear, you have to believe me,” she continued. “I’m baffled. It feels like a curse; I don’t know.”
She explained that if she’s wearing a sheer top, any revealing moments are intentional, but all other slip-ups are accidents.
