Chiefs’ Andy Reid Reveals Diet Tips Ahead of Travis Kelce’s Wedding
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has expressed that he wants to look his best for athlete Travis Kelce’s much-anticipated wedding to pop star Taylor Swift.
“Listen, I’ve cut back on the cheeseburgers now that I’m older,” Reid, 68, shared on the Friday, June 5, episode of The Stephen A. Smith Show. “I can fit into the tuxedo, so there’s definitely a chance I’ll be there.”
Swift and Kelce, 36, got engaged in August 2025 after two years of dating. Although it’s widely rumored that the couple plans to tie the knot this summer, neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly confirmed any details regarding the wedding day.
“I believe the wedding will take place after [my Life of a Showgirl promotional tour] as part of the planning, but I’m thrilled about it,” Swift mentioned on the Graham Norton Show in October 2025. “I think it will be a blast to plan because the stressful weddings are often the ones with limited guests who are uncertain.”
Both Swift and Kelce share a history with Reid. While Reid coaches Kelce on the Chiefs, he previously met Swift through her father. (Swift’s family hails from Pennsylvania, where Reid once coached the Philadelphia Eagles.)
“She’s a Pennsylvania girl, so I got to know her before Travis did,” Reid humorously remarked on the Friday episode. “I’m genuinely happy for them and their love. That’s what truly matters. Both are remarkable individuals, and I wish them all the best.”
While it’s still unclear if Reid received an invitation to their big day, he recently indicated he would RSVP positively if so.
“Well, I probably have … and assuming I don’t outgrow my tuxedo before then, I’m going,” Reid joked on Kansas City’s The Drive radio show last month when discussing the invitation. “But since you keep mentioning barbecue, I might need to grab some. I’m just going to show up. I’m really delighted for them.”
He added at the time, “In the end, regardless of the spotlight surrounding them, their love is the most significant thing.”
While Swift and Kelce have kept wedding details under wraps, an insider exclusively told Us Weekly in April that the couple is not planning a “large wedding.”
“They’ve debated between inviting everyone and keeping it intimate,” the source shared with Us. “Currently, they’ve decided to scale it back. It’s no longer going to be a grand spectacle.”
