Chris Jones inquired about Taylor Swift’s Pop-Tarts secret from Travis Kelce.

Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones has a soft spot for Taylor Swift’s delightful homemade treats — and who could resist?
“You know what, shout-out to Tay Tay,” Jones, 30, expressed to the Kansas City Star on February 7, right before the 2025 Super Bowl. “Her Pop-Tarts are absolutely incredible.”
He went on, “I was asking Trav [Kelce] because I don’t know how she manages to make the crust of the Pop-Tarts so amazing. The crust tastes like biscuits, I swear! But, big shout-out to Tay Tay, she’s the real deal.”
Swift, 35, has been in a relationship with Jones’ fellow Chiefs player Travis Kelce since the summer of 2023, frequently cheering for the team during their matches. The pop superstar enjoys preparing homemade goodies for her friends.
Following a Chiefs victory in a regular season game in November 2024, Swift gifted Jones and his partner Sheawna Weathersby, with whom he has two sons, a box of “Victory Pop-Tarts.” Weathersby, who usually sits with Swift and fellow Chiefs partner Chariah Gordon in a private suite during games, showcased the treats on her Instagram Story.
The Pop-Tarts, adorned with either white or blue icing and a selection of colorful sprinkles, were delivered in a custom box.
“Victory Pop-Tarts!” was inscribed on the box by Swift. “Congrats!! Love, Taylor.”
Jones and Kelce, 35, are not the only NFL players to enjoy Swift’s homemade confections.

“Kind of behind-the-scenes … she enjoys cooking, so she made the offensive linemen these homemade Pop-Tarts,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid shared during a February 2024 interview at the NFL Scouting Combine. “So it was great. She knew exactly who to impress. She didn’t give me one, and the offensive linemen definitely didn’t share!”
Kelce has had the chance to experience Swift’s cooking process firsthand. In an April 2024 YouTube short, Swift shared a moment where Kelce kissed her cheek while she was sautéing vegetables.
“I really enjoy cooking with her, so it’s something I prefer to keep personal,” Kelce humorously commented at a June 2024 press conference when asked about their cooking adventures. “Taylor makes an excellent Pop-Tart and cinnamon roll.”
Swift recently made her way to New Orleans to cheer on Kelce and the Chiefs during Super Bowl LIX on February 9. She is anticipated to watch the game — naturally dressed in red — from a private suite with Kelce’s family and friends.
Before the NFL championship, Swift and Kelce dined with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, at Lilette on Friday.
