Below Deck’s Jason Interested in Sliding Into Paige’s DMs Post-Craig Breakup
Below Deck‘s Captain Jason Chambers is single and eager to connect — and he has his sights set on a star from Summer House.
In an exclusive chat with Us Weekly, Jason, 52, discussed potential Bravo romantic interests, including Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, and Katie Maloney. He expressed interest in Paige, 32, following her breakup from Craig Conover.
“No [I haven’t reached out to her directly] because it’s still a bit fresh,” he confessed, pondering if Paige has already “moved on” with someone else. “I might have missed that opportunity.”
Captain Jason’s attraction to Paige surfaced just two months after she confirmed her split. Paige and Craig, 35, began dating in 2021 and frequently justified their long-distance relationship over the years.
“I have immense love and respect for Craig,” Paige shared on her and Hannah Berner‘s podcast “The Giggly Squad” in December 2024. “I’ll always be his biggest fan and wish him the best, as he deserves it. However, I believe this is the right choice for both of us.”
Craig also addressed their breakup, revealing in an Instagram Story, “[It happened] right before the holidays. I was really taken aback. It’s alright. Relationships involve two people, and you can’t control others, only how you respond. Please be kind to Paige, me, and everyone else.”
Before considering Paige, Jason mentioned that he could envision dating her Summer House co-star Lindsay Hubbard after her split from Craig Radke. (Lindsay, 38, is now a mother to 2-month-old daughter Gemma with boyfriend Turner Kufe.)
“What’s her name? I’ll look her up now. Lindsay? How do you spell the last name? Oh, Hubbard. [I would] totally ship that,” he told Us in November 2023. “We’ll take things slow.”
During the same month, Jason made the rounds at BravoCon, mingling with fellow reality stars like Lala Kent, Olivia Flowers, Caroline Brooks, Ashley Darby, Sutton Stracke, and Brynn Whitfield.
“I’m honestly looking forward to meeting these people that are coming up in discussions, but that’s as far as it goes. Just a nice meet and greet,” he reflected during an episode of Scheana Shay‘s “Scheananigans” podcast in November 2023. “If you don’t make an effort, you’ll never know. Otherwise, I’ll end up 70 and single. I need to put myself out there. Dating is tough. I’m not on Tinder.”
Jason has since adjusted his perspective on finding Mr. Right, telling Us earlier this month what he desires in a potential partner: “Someone adventurous, who loves to get their hands dirty, enjoys traveling, and appreciates nature and waterfalls.”
