The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, fondly referred to as “America’s sweethearts,” often find themselves in the spotlight, but who has truly captured their hearts?
Since the release of Netflix’s Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: America’s Sweethearts in June 2024, audiences have been captivated by the Texas cheer squad and their behind-the-scenes experiences. Reece Weaver, a rookie on season 1, drew viewers’ support not only in her quest to join the team but also in her relationship with now-husband Will Allman.
“I have been overwhelmed by the love and support from so many of you directed at my team, Will, and me,” Reece shared on Instagram in June 2025, expressing her excitement about being featured in season 1 while also feeling apprehensive.
Following the conclusion of season 2, Reece expressed her “overwhelming gratitude” for the outpouring of support she and her husband have received.
As season 2 premiered in June 2025, viewers pondered which DCCs have significant others cheering for them from the stands—Reece isn’t the only one!

Reece Weaver and Will Allman
Reece made quite the impression in season 1 of America’s Sweethearts, showcasing her rookie season. Between her first and second seasons as a DCC, she wed Will in April 2024. The pair, who met as college sweethearts at the University of Alabama, became engaged in season 1 where Reece shared that Will was her first boyfriend.
In their first year of marriage, Reece and Will welcomed a puppy named Ruby into their family. Will now works in Dallas and is always there to support his wife from the sidelines.
“I love you @willallman18 💌 so honored to be your wife,” Reece, featured in season 2 of the show, posted on Instagram in April 2025. “Thank you Jesus for the meaning of marriage and what you did on the cross and what you’ll do in the future. Just like a bride waiting for her groom, we’re waiting for you🤍.”
KayDianna Garza and Eric Garza
In her fourth year during season 2 of the reality series, KayDianna began dating Eric in February 2019 while they were both studying at Texas Christian University. The couple tied the knot in March 2023.
In April 2025, KayDianna announced her retirement from the DCC, making the 2024-2025 season her farewell football season. Before her departure, Eric praised his wife on Instagram.
“I’m so proud of you for all the work you’ve put in to get here and I’m in awe of everything you still do as you make your 4th season look effortless!” he wrote in November 2024. “I Love You 3000 and I’ll always be your #1 fan! 💙.”
Madie Krueger and Bryant Nelson
Madie was a fan-favorite during season 2, which followed her rookie year. She met her boyfriend, Bryant, at the gym during high school, and they started dating in July 2023. Their long-distance relationship was highlighted throughout the show during the 2024-2025 season.
While joining the DCC, she continued her studies at Texas Women’s University, while Bryant was completing an electrical apprenticeship four hours away in Pasadena, Texas. They adopted a puppy named Kipp together in January 2025 together.
Kleine Powell and Luc Powell
In her fourth year as a DCC during the 2024-2025 season, Kleine has had Luc by her side throughout. The high school sweethearts started dating in 2016 and got married in May 2023.
“Happy 2nd wedding anniversary @luc_powell 🤍 Every day with you is my new favorite day *ੈ✩‧₊˚,” Kleine shared on Instagram in May 2025. “(But this day was one of my FAVORITE favorite days.) So grateful for our friends and family for making us feel so celebrated and loved ♡︎.”
Ava Lahey and Tyger Vaniter
Fans were introduced to Ava during her rookie year in season 2. Ava’s biggest supporter is her fiancé, Tyger, with whom she has been dating since 2018 and has known since her teens. The MMA fighter popped the question to Ava in June 2025 in Pensacola, Florida. “It’s always been you ❤︎,” she remarked in a series of photos capturing the moment.
Megan McElaney and Alex Blaszyk
Fans of America’s Sweetheart recognize Megan as a seasoned DCC and group leader. When not on the field, she spends her time with boyfriend Alex, who, like Megan, hails from California. The couple began dating in December 2022.
Celebrating their two-year anniversary, Megan expressed her happiness on Instagram, calling herself “the happiest girl in the world.” She described the former college baseball player as her “right hand guy and best friend.” The couple took a significant step in their relationship in February 2025 by purchasing a home together.
Sophy Laufer and Jake Van Emburgh
Sophy marked her third year on the squad in August 2024, a journey showcased in season 2. Nearly a year later, Sophy shared on Instagram her relationship with Jake, a professional tennis player.
“What my heart’s been up to the past 3 months …❤️,” she teased in May 2025, sharing photos of her and Jake enjoying each other’s company.
Amanda Howard and Joseph Howard
Amanda returned for her third and final season with the DCC during the 2024-2025 year. Married to Joseph since August 2024, he is her biggest supporter.
“I feel so fortunate to navigate this journey with my hubby by my side,” Amanda wrote on Instagram in September 2024. “He is my biggest fan, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without his unwavering support and patience.”
Kelcey Wetterberg and Nate Crnkovich
Kelcey captivated fans during her final season in DCC, with glimpses of her relationship with her then-fiancé Nate, who proposed during the series.
The couple exchanged vows in December 2024, and Kelcey had a DCC blue star hidden on her garter. Several of her former squad members joined her as part of her bridal party. In June 2025, the couple acquired their “dream house.”
