The beloved NBC series tells the story of Rebecca (Moore) and Jack Pearson (Ventimiglia), who navigate the challenges of parenting their three children: Kevin, Kate, and Randall, all while leading with love. The Pearson family’s journey begins in the 1970s and follows them through decades filled with heartaches, victories, and life lessons.
Moore’s portrayal of a romantic storyline alongside the Gilmore Girls alum paved the way for her “modern love story” with husband Taylor Goldsmith. In an interview with InStyle in March 2019, she expressed, “If someone had told me three years ago, ‘That’s your future husband, and you’ll meet him through Instagram,’ I’d have thought they were totally nuts. It just shows that you need to stay open-minded because you never know what life has in store.”
Moore tied the knot with the Dawes frontman in November 2018, and in February 2021, they welcomed their first child, August. Their family expanded further with the arrival of son Ozzie in October 2022 and daughter Louise in September 2024.
