Dorit Kemsley Alleges PK Intends to Abandon Her, Leaving Kids ‘Without a Home’

Dorit Kemsley has accused her estranged spouse, Paul “PK” Kemsley, of having ulterior motives as he attempts to sell their family residence during their ongoing divorce proceedings.

In legal documents acquired by Us on Monday, July 27, Dorit, 50, alleged that PK, 58, is trying to “egregiously misuse Family Code 2108” to “evade trial” and continue neglecting mortgage payments, asserting that his purported actions would leave both her and their children without a home.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s attorney contended that Family Code 2108 was “never meant to allow the sleight of hand that PK is employing to make his wife and children homeless.”

Dorit claims that PK assured he would pay their bills — including the mortgage — after moving out of their marital home in May 2024, following nine years of marriage, instead of paying formal child support.

She asserted that PK has not honored his alleged promise, leading her to request that a judge award her $22,330 per month in spousal support and $21,086 per month in child support. (The former couple shares two children, son Jagger, 12, and daughter Phoenix, 10.)

Dorit also urged the judge to deny PK’s plea to sell their home, stressing that she and the children continue to reside there.

Her attorney pointed out that Family Code 2108 allows for an “extremely rare pre-trial exception” for the sale of marital property if “there is an immediate risk of market/investment loss,” asserting that was not the situation regarding her and PK’s property.

“In fact, there is no emergency or risk of loss in this case that would justify a pretrial sale of the marital residence before the court has the opportunity to order PK to pay Dorit child and spousal support,” Dorit’s lawyer claimed.

The attorney insisted that “forcing the inappropriate sale” of their home prior to trial constitutes an “abusive ex parte maneuver” on PK’s behalf, asserting it would leave Dorit and their children “homeless.”

Dorit further alleged in the documents that PK has the financial ability to cover the mortgage and support but is reportedly opting to spend his funds on his extravagant lifestyle.

She described PK as a “runaway” spender, claiming he has expended $756,000 in a few months.

Dorit’s legal team accused PK of spending $55,000 on clothes, including luxury brands like Hermès, $75,000 on dining, and withdrawing $103,000 in cash.

Alongside her request for ongoing spousal and child support, Dorit is asking the court for a retroactive payment of $347,000 in support. She has also requested the judge to penalize PK for his alleged misconduct, in the amount of $40,000.

Dorit’s filing follows PK’s previous claim that she spent $1 million on luxury items and clothing while filming RHOBH.

Dorit addressed these allegations in her filing, stating that she spent $217,000 for Season 15 and $500,000 on prior seasons, totaling approximately $713,000 over a 26-month timeframe, all of which she asserted was essential for being “camera-ready.”

She contended that PK’s claims regarding excess spending on clothing did not reflect the charges she “later refunded or credited back to her account” when they were not necessary.

Dorit’s attorney further alleged that PK’s “financial difficulties are only raised when he faces obligations to support his wife and dependent children.”

The legal team also claimed that the “evidence” of PK’s expenditure “illustrates that this claimed financial emergency is not due to genuine hardship, but is a result of PK’s own decision-making.”
