Hilaria Baldwin Shares Her Reasons for Undergoing a Breast Lift Post-Children

Hilaria Baldwin discussed her experience with a breast lift following the births of her children.

In the Sunday, April 6 episode of her reality TV show The Baldwins, which captures family life with her husband, Alec Baldwin, Hilaria, 41, disclosed that she decided to undergo surgery after breastfeeding “for so long.”

“It was one of those decisions I made, just to give myself a little lift,” Hilaria shared with the cameras during the episode. “I’ve been pregnant and/or breastfeeding for over a decade. I think this is the first time that I haven’t been pregnant or breastfeeding since I started my family.”

Hilaria, who has been married to Alec, 67, since 2012 and shares children Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Edouardo, 4, Maria, 4, and Ilaria, 2, with him, mentioned the significant changes her body underwent after becoming a mother. (Maria was born via surrogacy in March 2021.)

“I got accustomed to my body looking a certain way, and as most women know, once breastfeeding ends, it’s quite a different reality. It almost felt like my body wasn’t really mine anymore, because I had grown so used to it being a certain way,” she elaborated. “It was something I did for myself to feel okay, and that’s perfectly fine.”

Hilaria has been notably candid on the TLC reality series, recently revealing that the age difference with Alec was challenging initially. “I used to follow Alec’s lead on so many things. I lived with a lot of anxiety and stress,” Hilaria mentioned in the March 30 episode of The Baldwins. “I felt almost like a kid in an adult’s home. I don’t want to say ‘parent’ because that seems odd. But it felt like someone else’s space, and I didn’t feel like it was mine.”

The yoga instructor and entrepreneur has also been forthcoming about her body over the years. In April 2021, just a month after welcoming Maria, Hilaria posted a photo of her belly on Instagram Stories. “Yes, I have loose skin after all my pregnancies,” she admitted in one Story, followed by another photo showcasing Maria’s belly rolls. “Baby friend woke up … she and I have matching tummies,” she added in the second Story.

Earlier this month, Hilaria and her seven children celebrated Alec’s 67th birthday with a cake at home. “Happy birthday, Alec,” she captioned a heartfelt Instagram video on Thursday, April 3. “We love you!”

Alec also shares daughter Ireland Baldwin, 29, with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.
