Influencer Estee Williams Grieves the Loss of Her 8-Month-Old Daughter

Influencer Estee Williams is honoring her 8-month-old daughter, Estelle, following her tragic passing.

“Until we meet again, my sweet Estelle,” Williams shared on her Instagram Story on Saturday, May 30, alongside a photo of her cradling her daughter, adding an angel wings emoji to the post.

On Sunday, May 31, Williams confirmed to People that Estelle had succumbed to multiple organ failure after spending several months reliant on various hospital machines.

Estelle was born in 2025 with a congenital heart defect known as ventricular septal defect.

“After enduring a two-day labor and feeling completely exhausted, my midwife and I decided that transferring to the hospital was the best course of action. Estelle was welcomed into the world another 24 hours later — healthy and absolutely beautiful. However, a day and a half later, she failed two oxygen saturation screenings, and a heart murmur was detected, leading to her admission to the NICU for further assessment,” Williams recounted on Instagram in 2025.

She added, “The cardiologist conducted an echocardiogram, revealing the presence of two VSDs — one large and one moderate. We were informed that the larger hole measured 11 mm and that she would likely show symptoms during her infancy, necessitating open-heart surgery to repair the VSDs with patches. Four days later, we brought our baby girl home to begin her heart journey.”

Williams revealed that Estelle’s surgery was slated for November 2025, with expectations for a “relatively short hospitalization” of about three to six days post-surgery.

“Our baby girl’s surgery was successful! The surgeon informed us that hers was the largest VSD he had ever repaired — measuring 30 mm and requiring a 3 cm patch. A healthy baby’s heart at her age/weight would typically be walnut-sized, but due to the immense strain it was under to keep her alive, hers had expanded to the size of an orange. It felt nothing short of miraculous to bring our baby home from the NICU and see her grow, even minimally, before her surgery,” Williams shared at that time.

Williams explained that due to the “extensive patching that couldn’t contract like a normal septum,” Estelle’s “postoperative course was entirely unforeseen and marked by significant complications.” Within two weeks, Estelle underwent her second heart surgery due to a complete heart block.

After going into cardiac arrest in December 2025, Estelle was placed on life support. Williams was informed that her daughter would not be discharged from the hospital until she received a heart transplant.

In April, Williams noted that Estelle was deemed ineligible for a transplant due to several health complications, including sepsis and blood clotting issues. Once her condition improved, Estelle was again granted eligibility. Earlier this month, Williams disclosed that Estelle had been removed from the transplant list for the second time.
