Jen from Love Island USA Shares Insider Scoop on Islanders’ Farting Habits in the Villa
Love Island USA‘s Jen Terry addressed a common query regarding how Islanders handle gas in the villa.
“It’s literally everyone walking around,” Jen mentioned during the Aftersun special on Saturday, July 4. “Do it and run away.”
Caleb McDaniel shared his own experience from Fiji.
“The first night Kenzie and I were coupled up, I was behind her and my belly [wasn’t feeling good],” he reminisced. “You could probably feel it from the other side of the room.”
Before her departure, Jen was refreshingly honest about her feelings when guys in the villa didn’t express interest.
“I know that I’m gorgeous and stunning but here — aside from when I was with Gabe — I felt like, ‘Am I hideous?’” she said in a June episode. “Is there something wrong with me? Does my personality suck?”
She added: “Typically, I’m used to guys drooling over me. Here, it has been so challenging.”
Love Island USA showcases a group of singles who must pair off to remain in the villa’s luxurious environment. The contestants, known as Islanders, live in seclusion under constant video surveillance. They must be coupled to stay on the show and vie for a $100,000 prize.
The series just celebrated a historic milestone, with season 7 achieving 18.4 billion streaming minutes, making it the most-watched original season on the platform.
“[This season] emphasizes the journey more than the end result,” narrator Iain Stirling told Us Weekly exclusively in July 2025. “It’s about finding someone and how you evolve as a person. Five or six years ago, there was a more conventional approach to dating with proper millennials in the mix.”
While some viewers questioned the romantic paths taken, Stirling supported the Islanders’ new approach.
“The main goal was to be with someone, and you had a commitment to honor that relationship,” he noted. “Now, many people are creating personal commitments to pursue the experiences they desire.”
He further explained, “These individuals are mostly in their early 20s. If you can’t be self-focused while dating at that age — then when can you? A generation ago, we weren’t selfish in our 20s and often avoided hurting feelings. Then we hit 30 to 40 and face divorces or crises. Perhaps this is a healthier way to approach it.”
New episodes of Love Island USA air six days a week — except Wednesdays — on Peacock.
